As soon as I opened mine I could tell something was wrong. It looked fairly poor quality - not at all what I was expecting. I came here and found that it was no longer gloss. What a disappointment. This could have been a top steelbook but they cheaped out AND lied to all of us as well...how disappointing

I felt the same way and Have the UK anthology steel but cmon it's Aliens and you have to get Alien as well. HAHAHA. I can't stop but it really was disappointing considering how good the pics looked.

If you are disappointed with the finish then get a can of Clear Lacquer spray to Gloss the Steel.

I am sure you guys have seen how it might look post glossing.

Like howie said, it'd be great to see some pics as I'm tempted to do a custom gloss job myself. Well it is Aliens after all, it's worth the extra effort
