With Evangeline Lily being cast as Hope in Marvel Studio’s upcoming film Ant-Man, she has made some changes to her style for the role. The super hero synonymous with Ant-Man is Janet Van Dyne or Wasp. Now, Lily has been cast as a character name related to Wasp named Hope Van Dyne. She happens to be the name of Hank Pym (The original Ant-man) and Janet’s daughter which means she could still be Wasp but it has yet to be confirmed. Also worth mentioning is that Hank and Janet are founding members of The Avengers so working the characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe makes a lot of sense.

Evangeline Lily has recently posted some pictures of her new hairstyle and take a look below. She has the same hair as the hero herself.







This is a picture of her with Paul Rudd that she also posted to social media. Hopefully this pans out and she becomes Wasp because she would be perfect.

Marvel’s ANT-MAN has had a lot of bumps in the road since all of the production crew changes but it seems like the movie is in a steady stride to reach its release date in the summer of 2015. The villain Yellowjacket is on the new promo art and this is the first clear look at his suit. It reminds me a little of the Armored Spider from the Marvel Spider-verse with robotic arms but in a black & yellow coloring like an actual yellow jacket. It looks pretty tough and it will probably look even better on the big screen.

Must admit the idea of Ant-Man never really excited me too much, but it's Marvel and the way they've been going they can't do any wrong in my eyes.

The trailer reminded me of old school Marvel... Hulk, Daredevil, Electra etc. I hope I can be proven wrong as I really like the sound of the character and also love Paul Rudd. I suppose it is just a teaser trailer though, so fingers crossed the full trailer will impress me more.

Check out this Fan Man Re-Edited trailer. The change comes around the 1:15 mark.


In my opinion, This works A LOT better. The Tone for a trailer is huge, and this nails it. Brings out the Fun. Enjoy!
