I dont know how long I will do this, or if people have questions ... but I'll check this thread daily in case people have questions about steelbooks etc. I'll try to answer to the best of my ability from what I am allowed to say in some cases or just info you may not have seen me drop before in past threads.

Wreck, is there a chance you could ask your Zavvi contact about the upcoming Little Mermaid steelbook, regarding the rear and inside art?? I was unhappy with the ''blank'' back on Jungle Book and something tells me that this could be the same.

It's appalling that we've not been shown the full package as of yet, less than 2 weeks until release and having paid a high premium.

there is some more tv show steels on the horizon, but I havent heard that one yet. I'm positive ones coming will do very well, and that may open more doors for tv on steel.

Thanks Wreck, you're the best!

I'd be surprised if the show that's being pretty much hailed as the Greatest show on tv [ever] missed out on doing a steelbook line.

I already have Seasons 1-5a on amaray, I'll buy 5b for completeness, and I'm probably going to get the Collector's Barrel too.

But if they released them on steelbook...:ohno::oohyeah::drool::LOL::scat:

Hey Wreck, dunno if you've seen the recent updated art for The Great Gatsby, but it's Greatly Disappointing.

Can you confirm if that is the final art we'll get, or if they might go back to the original art.

I'll check on it. If that is final I'm hoping for some type of epic finish that makes us all go face palm. Like what if Part was all etched?? Not sure if possible but that type of lasering exists in other mediums

Hey Wreck, I'm not sure if this the proper thread for this, but...is there a definitive (or not so definitive) list of steels (reg size, not jumbo) that have room for 3-4 discs? Just looking to slim down Monsters Inc and UP and sometimes the google machine is contradictory for what is actually contained inside. I know the LOTR american steels have room for 2...but can't seem to find any 3-4 disc ones. Another caveat is that I'm trying to keep it SOMEWHAT cheap, like under $10.

Hey Wreck do you know whats going on with the Splinter Cell Steelbook from Zavvi, I still haven't received it separately like zavvi said they would send it, just feel like im getting messed about.

If that were the case that MIGHT be different. I appreciate the use of the steelbook medium as art just as much as the movie inside. Sometimes more.

I think my favorite steelbook is The Green Hornet. Perfect use of the steelbook medium.

Pretty much everywhere except the US. Just make sure you don't get the German re-release that us not embossed;)

Yeah  Made that mistake myself.. The rerelease is one of the worst examples of ruining something..

Let's throw a giant banner over the art, throw in titles and text all over the front, and print the j-card on the steelbook itself.
