I dont know how long I will do this, or if people have questions ... but I'll check this thread daily in case people have questions about steelbooks etc. I'll try to answer to the best of my ability from what I am allowed to say in some cases or just info you may not have seen me drop before in past threads.

Hi Wreck, could you kindly pass on to Zavvi that there is a typo on the inside artwork of Team America, they've mis-spelt it "INTELLIGINCE" and as far as anyone is aware this was never mis-spelt in the film.

Zavvi send us an e-mail it was almost sold out almost a week ago, it went off line for a few minutes and is back online since then. The 10K they were talking about was/is obviously a lie.

Yes, he knows and he's already said at least twice that he can't give out that info now. You asking the same question over and over again is getting pretty annoying

Wreck not sure if you can share this or not but can you share the # of US steelbooks that are basically in the works or that is happening? I'm not worried about print runs or what they are or who is getting what

If you cant that's ok thanks foryour time and all that you do share!

I have heard of a rumor that Disney had some issues with FutureShop and BestBuy regrading their steelbook releases. Considering zavvi and Blufans are only retailers currently releasing Disney titles exclusively are we not going to see Disney steelbooks released in North America in the near future?

God I hope not. When I think Disney, I think FS, and no one else. Their 3, 4 or even 5 disk releases are unmatched by any, let alone Zavi. FS usually releases Disneys once a year near Christmas time. Usually 4-5 titles are released, so I don't think there are any issues. With FS anyways.

Ricker, Zavvi confirmed that these were not 'Exclusive' to them, and our threads were changed. So hopefully they appear at more retailers soon to provide some additional purchasing options.

Hi Wreck,

I was wondering if you'd be able to find out through your connections at Zavvi if the cover artwork for The Goonies steelbook is the final version? I only ask as a number of ninjas including myself think it is a real shame that they have cropped the Drew Struzan artwork in such a way that many of the characters are no longer on the cover.

I'm not really sure how much influence Zavvi get over the artwork which is placed on their steelbooks exclusives, but if there is a chance this cropped artwork could be amended, I think it would make a far superior steelbook for those of us who are massive fans of this film.

Also, with the question over the Goonies artwork mock up, the same question can be applied to the Prestige and its odd cropping of the bottom of the image and big black band at the top..I appreciate these releases are a long way off and artwork can change in that time but surely the main selling point of these releases is the steelbook and its art, as most of us already own the films in one format or another...

Can you find out whats going on with the odd cropping? is it just a case of an early/bad mock up? as the artwork as it stands would be a deal breaker for me

I don't know if this has been asked before, but do you know if the IM3 steels outside of the UK will have embossing aswell ?

I have also been trying to find this out and would really like some more info on it. Is it exclusive to Zavvi as they are the only retailer selling it in the UK or is there an exclusive design??

After asking Zavvi themselves, their wonderfully helpful Customer Service operator told me they were 'unable to advise any details on the product'. Not sure if this means they couldn't tell me (because it's classified information!!!) or that they just didn't have a Scooby Doo!

Please Wreck, is the Iron Man 3 embossing design universal or exclusive to Zavvi?

My question.
Could you please persuade Zavvi to send out a "change in dispatch date" email so that fellow ninjas can budget accordingly?
Aladdin has been dispatched two weeks sooner than expected to many members... some ninjas have not allocated the amount to their accounts yet as it would have been there in the next two weeks anyway i assume. this may result in orders being cancelled or payment problems.
Uncertainty when it comes to a budget is never welcome

Hi Wreck, I know you may not be able to answer these for a while, but I have a few questions:

1) Can you reveal the print run of Iron Man 3, The Jungle Book and The Little Mermaid? I currently have two of each on pre-order in case they sell out. The trouble is that September and October are looking very expensive, so I could do with cancelling those spares if these are going to stick around for a while.

2) With the announcement of Monsters University, are Zavvi planning to release any more Pixar films? It would be great to know before collectors to commit to GBs for UP for example.

3) Is JFK a Zavvi exclusive? It doesn't mention it on their site, but it hasn't popped up anywhere else as of yet.
