I just had a few thoughts I wanted to run by you guys.....now, might-I Inquire as to the nature of the various artworks of each edition for this release...none of which are perfect, To say the least.
For your everyday, average collector, the costs of buying each edtion is upsetting. It's alot of cash for one release. For Us completionists, it's alot but I'm sure we've all spent more on 1 release before (I know I have) so no biggie there.
The real dilema is being able to secure the entire set, which is almost impossible to do when buying directly from Nova as it is sure to sell out within a minute.
After Contemplating the artworks of each edition...NOT as a whole set, but STAND ALONE, (while keeping the costs in mind)I've come to a conclusion:
•the Lenticular is the BEST edition out of the bunch, because the artwork has every character front and center, and represents the film quite well. It's also artwork we haven't seen on a Lenti before. And "they" actually give the Hulk some prime real estate on the front. I'm disappointed with the Cap's pose but you can't win them all.
•2nd Best = Type A. Iron Man is the Front Man of this band, so who better to have blasted on the front. Iron Man and The Hulk make a great combo, they look awesome together. Plus they have solo films together so this artwork works great.
•3rd Best. = Type B. This will make a great companion to The Winter Soldier Full Slip. Looks great. And with Scarlet on the back in tight black leather, you can't complain. Still a bit redundant and boring tho.
•4th Best = thor looks amazing. This would look great on any shelf BUT I'd prefer Nick Fury on the back instead of Hawkeye the bow and arrow guy
So your not a completionist, or maybe you are but you still think 3 full slips is a gimmick to milk us dry like a cash cow? It's a sham, you say?
Well, to that I say: BUY THE LENTI!!!!!!!!
