Honestly not impressed with any of the slips. Also the actually photo of the steel is not that impressive, I prefer Zavvi. That being said, I'm buying them all because in hand experiences with Nova products is always satisfying. They do a good job in attention to detail, so I'll be a customer.

At some point the sheer number of different versions is going to be counterproductive for the retailer as once a collector decides that 5 or 6 version of the same steelbook is too expensive then they will only go for 1 version whereas previously they would have been tempted to go for 2 or 3 versions.

As aforementioned most of these are possibly reserved for the GB. If the Zero Dark Thirty issues at PA have taught me anything, it might be best to jump on that GB. Hmm...

Novamedia have cancelled group buys organised with HDN in the past and also massively restricted stock allocated for them, so I'd say it far from guarantees you a copy if you were to sign up for a GB here.

This will be their 2nd most fastest selling Exclusive after Drive. They made something special as I do not like ''The Avengers'' and they got me so excited about this beautifully well thought of package. Instead of having just the conventional release format 1 slip, 1 lenti, 1 1/4 as usual ''with the same image type of all of them together squished on the cover'' ~ they are going out of the box and offering Different packages to go with this amazing steelbook design, it is very nice IMO.

All 3 Full Slip complement each other and as a package makes something very interesting that we do not see often in the collecting world, 3 FullSLip to make the whole package of the Avengers... Instead of just 1 slip with all the gang on it as usual.

Each FullSlip are Classy and not busy and I am sure in hands and side by side they will complement each other very well. You may not like it, but I like when a retailer dare to be creative and offer a real WEA, they took a chance and made something very nice... This fairly similar concept was done for Into darkness by blufans for the tri pack (3 x Different FullSlip for all 3 Character) so why not have something like this to make ''The Avengers'' that we have seen so often all the time all together squished together to be on the cover, from amarays to lentis they all BLEND In and they stop to be differentiated.

This Creative Project is DIFFERENT and Fresh and will not be lost within all those same type of Lentis or slipcovers that are out there.

I'd never buy a steelbook (especially one as expensive as this is sure to be) for a movie I do not like. I guess I'm in this hobby for a way different reason than some.
