They should have stuck with two full slips and one Lenti. Being that the one click is going to be extremely hard to order, if it sells out, some people like myself may try going for each individual package. Time spent on the one click will give people that much less of a chance to order the individual release. For such a great release Novas go live execution was worse than abysmall plus they overdid it with the full slips, making it extremely difficult to order them all (Lenti included) if the one click fails.

Right now I have a Lenti in my cart and Full Slip B. I don't know if I should settle on those or delete them and go for the one click, and risk the chance of losing the two in my cart and or possibly the one click. I like Nova releases but I'm very disappointed with them as a retailer.

No risk, no fun. ;) I also waited for the 1 Click to go live yesterday and thus possibly missed to order the Lenti and one Full slip. But One Click is the way to go...

I cant be sure if items that are still in your cart will be still there when it goes live again
Its possible they will clear these

I cant remember for sure when the same problem happened with Captain America Winter Solider and the server crashed mine was still in my cart for days after but I'm nearly sure I had to add it again when the new live date happened and there was no problems ordering that second attempt that day but that might have been due to lot of people not bothering to try the second time

As I said yesterday I did not see any issues with the website until after I was looking at my orders in my order history and that was around 12.05 PM or 12.06 PM the website then crashed it might have even been a bit later than that

Yesterday
I had decided to go with Full Slip B
I added to my cart exactly at 8.00 (12.00 PM UK ) Full Slip B
I got to shipping details very quickly and picked K-packet and forgot to tick the box no invoice but I did tick the box merchandize and I was were is the option pick $20.00 I know the reason now it was because I did not tick no invoice option but with time a important part
I decided to not waste any more time and completed payment and my order was accepted
I completed my first order for Full Slip B 8:01:52 PM KST

In the heat of the moment I decided I will get a Lenti Slip as well
I added Lenti Slip to cart and this time remembered to tick the box no invoice pick $20.00 and tick box merchandize
I completed my order at 8:03:17 PM KST (12.03.17 UK Time)

I then with lack of sleep decided to do another order for Full Slip B as I was concerned about my first attempt not ticking the box no invoice with this time correctly tick box no invoice pick $20.00 and tick box merchandize and I completed that order at 8:04:17 PM KST (12.04.17 UK Time)

I was then surprised when checking my first order of Full Slip B in my order history to see it show it was marked
$20.00 Merchandise even though I had forgot to pick $20.00 option by not ticking box no invoice

I was totally unaware of anyone having problems trying to order until after the website went down
But I expected to be honest this would happen at some stage due to the high demand and I feel sorry for those who experienced this as its not nice its happened to me in the past with previous Nova and kimichidvd Marvel releases but the Iron Man problem was sorted and I got my copy that time as it was payment part of the site that crashed that day

Iron Man for example with Kimchidvd had similar problem their website and Payment system crashing
Even Plain Archive lot of customers had problem completing checkout with Zero Dark Thirty

With Marvel releases the demand is always going to be a problem for websites like Nova and Kimichidvd
Website problems seam to happen every time with Marvel releases that have a huge demand that's more than available stock it causes overload on these websites that they cant cope with

I'm wondering was there a overload of customers attempting orders for ONE CLICK or Full Slip A to cause the site to crash
As I gather these were the most popular choices

What will happen on Thursday I don't know it could be a case of overload on the website again if there is lot of order attempts same time

A solution is needed to found for releases like this that have a demand that's more than what's available so a website don't crash
When its a release that is just normal demand its not an issue the website don't crash and only issue is some miss out because its sold out by the time they get to complete payment

The Websites like Zavvi and Amazon don't seam to have these problems of site crashes when customers order high demand releases but in saying that they don't have releases that have amazing packages extras as likes of Nova/Kimichi/Plain Archive have

Good Luck to all on Thursday and I hope you get Lucky on your second attempt to order I know its not stress free but hopefully you will have more time on Thursday to complete checkout before any repeat of a site crash

@paulboland Wow you managed to get 3 seperate orders in before the site crashed, it crashed for me before 12 o'clock, couldn't get a single page to load properly let alone add anything to my cart.
You don't fancy ordering one for me on Thursday do you

Wow!!! look @ all the messages waiting for me. I didn't know I was that famous lol
I didn't get any copies. However, I can state that I got quick a finger exercise
Could not get past the shipping screen
When the next phase (round 2) comes around, I'll have more experience with my quick fingers
Rotfl... my items may still be in the cart though :naughty:
I'm sure you will get your one-click this time around (round 2) buddy :). Especially now you've earned some EXP in "Fingering"
But earlier (before round 1) you just seemed a bit.....over confident . And its not you, its just that when it comes to Nova's servers, I'm not even confident, let alone overly confident to easily get one :naughty::whistle: If that doesn't tell you anything about this company then I dunno what else will.

not going to be getting any release of these direct now as I will be at work for round 2... not impressed.
I managed to get a letni into my cart last time and get to shipping before it was wiped and then when I was able to get back onto the site excatly the same, so I come out with 0 copies and hating Nova's site

Paul will do a GB lol just joking ;)
:giggle::LOL::rofl:

What's a Group Buy

 If I did I would charge a lot
I'm only messing :D
I would not have the time to run a group buy with my work and mad long hours I work and I respect and recognize the big effort it takes to run a group buy and they also have day jobs to do as well

It was Nova decision to limit the use of Group buys with this release and I had an idea that this was going to happen a few days before launch as the number of requests was way to much with the amount of available international stock that was available
Who to blame on the communication between Nova and Group Buy hosts it not something I can comment on

The release had 4 versions from 2,500 so each was even more limited than it looked in reality
It easy to say but the overall print run was 5,000 but it was not that for international customers so it was always going to be very hard for the International website to handle thousands of attempted orders at the same time a website crash was always going to happen at some stage
How to avoid this is something all small retailers need to look at for huge high demand releases its not cheap to run a website to handle excessive high traffic its expensive and most of the main retailers like amazon have this ability

As I told you in previous PM Messages before it went live to expect the site to crash at some stage

Ordering very High Demand Marvel releases is not for the faint hearted with Korean Retailers especially when they split the print run between local and international customers as this can confuse what stock is available to order in reality its simple maths the amount of available stock to does not meet the demand
I really think they should have went with 10,000 print run its a release they would still have sold out and even then they would still need a lot more server linked to handle the amount of traffic if one of the links is weak it can cause the rest to cause a crash

Its all down to luck on what sever your connected to on the day as to how quick you can access their site and complete an order
With these releases a server is allocated to a location and each server will have different amount of web traffic
Some will have less traffic than others its pot luck on the day as another day I could be on a server that has overload of traffic

To be honest I cant really see Thursday being any different from the Friday Fiasco - what are they going to do ????? I was constantly refreshing the One-Click page before 12 (UK time) and it started to grind to a halt as soon as selected add to cart as soon as it appeared. I hope I am wrong but I suspect it will be a very frustrating time again. I did not get to experience the **** up with Drive and Cap Winter Soldier. My first purchase on Nova was the GOTG One-Click purchase which went smoothly so I was expecting the same with this one. Boy was I wrong.

@digitalbabe @apsmith21

Update: Novamedia boss and staff in HK today. Questions asked...
Why was HDN GB cancelled?
They ignored the question or don't understand English.
Server crashed on Friday Preorder ?
They said they can't rent server like Amazon one, can't afford
Anything left in your cart automatically deleted.
That's all I have to tell.
wow Novamedia are friendly hope the hamsters are ok
