The lenti doesn't bother me.It is just like the german release of hansel and gretel.If that bothered you,then this will.If it didn't, then this won't.My critique is more with the actual proportion of the design layout.

For those who say they have cancelled I hope you don't reget it when this is back in stock it will sell out very fast

Remember it's not just a lenticular your purchasing

The Steelbook is the main part and can be enjoyed with or without the lenticular

If you cancel all your doing is letting those who missed out get one or scalpers get more stock
Hopefully it will be only those who missed will get the chance instead

The other steelbooks that have a lenticular magnet of this type are the pride of my collection and I see no reason why this will be any different. As Paul says, make sure you don't regret cancelling as I imagine this movie has a LOT of fans and it may be hard to secure another copy later on...

I wouldn't worry too much, Zavvis stock system isn't live, so doesn't update when cancellations happen, Zavvi normally put them back up for sale when items ship, keep an eye on this thread, you'll soon know when it's back up...

I had a few spares on order. However i cancelled due to the fact that I have bigger fish to fry at the moment, that said I still have my personal copies on orders as I would have to be insane to pass this up

It reminds me of a person in the past who used to bring pre order items before release day to the second hand shop were I was the manager of the shop
Lets just say that stopped after a few enquires to how the person came into having them so early

It was sold. Not removed, the item price is highlighted in green when you search for completed items. It would have a reason displayed at the top if the seller removed it, or it wouldn't show up at all if ebay removed it.

What a lazy job by Zavvi for this. Well it's better than the prior Avengers steel, but looks like Nova is the one to get (by a large margin), however I'll be getting this Zavvi version because even with the mini lenti, it's still nice.

If he has any sense then he'll just reuse the Zavvi box that it arrived in. No sense wasting a perfectly good jiffy bag...

You would think so, but I think what's being considered here is HOW this seller came into possession of this, the same seller had the 3 Zavvi Pirates of the Carribean steelbooks up with an ACTUAL photo of it (they are in the relevant threads).

Some say its promo copies, but it's all a bit strange, Cannot link to ebay listings in here, but you can search for the Pirates steelbook and you'll spot them immediately, its a business seller in Watford.

The Avengers steel he had up for sale was sold, so will only show up in completed searches.

The only thing that, IMO, let down the previous UK steelbook was the lack of a title on the spine. That said, we'd still have been stuck with the Avengers Assemble title due to copyright reasons.

The Zavvi version has a much better look to me than the Nova edition. The front, spine and back flow much better, and certainly the front has a much better layout and is far less cramped (with better perspective) than the Nova version.

My personal preference would be a mash-up of the HMV and Nova editions. The front and back of HMV's with Nova's spine for the US title.
