I have just got off the phone to zoom's customer service team.
I explained that I pre-ordered this 28/06/2017, had my card charged 08/11/2017 and the order was sent to warehouse on the same day.
To date I have not received the order or received a dispatch email.

The customer service team explained that due to an error at the warehouse and a large bulk of orders over the weekend, they are now sold out of this SteelBook.
I asked if I would be still receiving this order and they said they would have to check with the warehouse for any other stock. But I would be getting a 50% refund today and if any stock becomes available it will be sent. If no stock becomes available I will receive the rest of my refund.
As a regular customer of zoom (due to the never-ending 10% discount) I have always been happy with their service, but I feel that on this occasion they have been very poor. Not releasing orders on a first made, first sent basis, then sending daily generic email responses apologising for the delay, to then be told sorry there's no stock left.

I was genuinely looking forward to receiving this SteelBook as I am a fan of Edgar Wright's films and am truly gutted to have missed out, after pre-ordering from the day zoom listed this SteelBook. I hope that any ninjas who took advantage of this weekends discount offer and bought duplicate copies, use zoom's free returns policy to make more stock available for those who have missed out.

Rant over.

That is outrageous customer service.
I would imagine the amount ordered via eBay has caused them to prioritise those.
They sold a shed load this past week which I thought seemed ridiculous given it had sold out everywhere already.

I would not accept a refund and an apology for something ordered promptly months ago. You should have been 1st on the dispatch list.

Just opened mine. Wow. A nice looking Steelbook. Spot gloss on the back is not subtle. It is done almost properly. The front is minimalistic but it's okay. Just wish they debossed the title as that would made this is a perfect release. This and Cars 3 have really surprised me. :)

Yeah, seems that way, eBay sales were prioritised then the code caused carnage. Extra stock sent from Sony when the delay was complained about.

Zoom's handing of the situation is a mess...They should have pulled the eBay listing and code when the sales started spiking.

Indeed I think that comment made me just fall off my chair, I hadn't picked up on the criticism but he is right  Debossing would have made this really sweet...
still prefer the Yellow one for me :censored:

You'll need it in hand...The colour is impressive unlike that sick yellow artwork

Ordered 10/10, sent to warehouse 8/11. Guess I’m not getting mine either :( is this sold out everywhere? Went into hmv and they don’t have any in store which I thought was strange

Lol. I don't mind spot glossing as long as it covers a good portion of the artwork which is the case here. I love gloss but remember that District 9 HMV which is matte finish is still in my top 20 favourite Steelbook. Debossing would have been perfect nevertheless it is a good looking Steelbook :)
