Only real 4K releases I have seen are wildlife discs and porn downloads, no normal movies.
What is the 4K disc you have seen? No UltraHD Blu-ray discs have been released yet.
The only non-streaming 4K content available now is downloads, and a selection of Blu-ray + USB releases with a 4K movie on a USB stick.

Local John Lewis had these blurays on sale with footage of landscapes/cityscapes, wildlife etc. Basically test discs to show off the image quality

If there are any more crowd-pleasing films that deserve the 4K treatment I'd like to know which ones plus this is the 30th anniversary of 'BTTF' and I'd say now would have be as good a time as any for the studio to stump up the cash on these films instead of releasing old discs in nice new shiny packaging. Poor show, Universal (n)
4K Blu-rays are already here for much less worthy films.
4K TVs are already here and will soon be reasonably affordable.
4K Blu-ray players are already here.
Anybody interested in film should welcome this move to better video etc.
If you think convincing someone that 1080p looks better than 480p, try convincing them of the difference between their 1080p and UHD. The average person does not see the difference- moreover the difference in quality between the latter to the former is much less obvious to the average viewer. UHD is a big uphill battle- not the smallest being cost.
Try selling someone a TV and telling them there is almost ZERO content available for the tech they just bought!! Plus- by the time UHD hits any kind of stride, OLED will be ready and blow it to kingdom come. I would not invest in UHD.

Back on topic:

As a fan of metal packaging and a modest fan of the films I'd buy this steelbook trilogy set and the individual steelbooks along with the anniversary trilogy - because of the extra disc - which I'd use to replace the existing trilogy in my 25th anniversary tin - as well as the separate hardback book.
This should cost me about GBP 126 at the time of writing (Book @ 28 - Trilogy steelbook @ 40 - Separate steelbooks @ 43 - 30th Trilogy @ 15 (Amazon UK) ).

As a dedicated fan of the 'BttF' films and in addition to most of the above I'd buy the U.S./Canadian Limited Edition Complete Adventures in the Flux Capacitor Packaging over the similar U.K. edition if only for the extras not included in the U.K. set - i.e. the complete animated series on DVD (and the slightly fuller sampler book).
The prices of both the U.S. and the U.K. editions are remarkably similar @ approx GBP 60 although for some unidentified reason the Canadian set is much more reasonably priced at the equivalent of GBP 35 for what appears to be exactly the same set as the U.S. one (maybe the cover has French print ?).
The separate book would be a must as well.
This should cost me between GBP 146 and 170 depending on whether I bought the U.S. or the Canadian Flux Capacitor.

Of course, if I was a sensible and entirely rational person I'd only buy the separate book and wait for the 'mastered in 4K' or True 4K or whatever the next improved discs are called for the films - bring on the 35th Anniversary, I say :)

Don't wish to say anything negative about the artwork but "Where's the car?", unless it's already on its way to the future and is showing on the back of the case head on.
Then again, you can't have both the car and the two main characters together, I suppose, as the image would be too cluttered.
Not familiar with this image and was wondering if it's newly commissioned artwork or something inspired by the animated series?

Even though this has apparently sold out in double-quick time out I'd guess that the profits to be made by eBayers is limited by the readily available and far superior Flux Capacitor Set which can be bought for the equivalent of GBP 35 on Amazon Canada (although I don't know the p&p to the U.K. from Canada) and the same U.S. set for the equivalent of GBP 75 (including p&p) which by-the-way is an Amazon US 'Best Seller'.
As we know these are the most complete sets available to celebrate the 30th anniversary although the U.K. set @GBP 60 is fine if you are not a 'completist' and have no interest in the animated series on DVDs.
N.B. To buy the animated series separately at this time you'll have to cough up the equivalent of approx. GBP 39 (including p&p) to the U.K. from Amazon US.

It's just inspired by the film....

Thanks for that, but what I meant about "not being familiar with the image" was in regard to if it has been taken from an original poster or if it has been used before on the cover of any other 'BttF' product.
In other words, is this WWE artwork that's never been used before?

Yeah. It looks like it's been designed specifically for this.

At least I've never seen it used before either.

Strange that the U.S. got different artwork again for theirs.

And on the steelbook they've put doc on the wrong side of marty.. hehe.. I'm just being picky
Yes I noticed that too. But in the film I'm pretty sure there is a shot of them from the front (where Marty is on the left) and they both turn around and you can see the position which is used on this cover.

The point where marty is on Doc's left side is when he first uses the car's remote controller, there isn't a shot from behind them though.. once he has the car in place, Doc then moves around marty and into the cars path, and is now on marty's left. I know I'm being super picky, and I wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't have been watching the film earlier today. Also Doc does not wear those orange protective gloves (like in this steelbook pic) at anytime while he is holding the cars remote control:confused:

I'm just having a bit of fun with the accuracy of the artwork.. it's not important:happy:

I wonder when we'll see the rest of the bttf artworks of all these new releases, it's a long way off from October but I hope we see all artwork a while before.. need to make up my mind what orders to keep and it's reliant on the whole package as there are so many:)
