Same design as the 2010 US/Canadian DVD + the 2012 Dual Format . . . and even of the DVD from Denmark . . . with one obvious difference (lol).
/
Mexican release also w/ same artwork but with the most unusual title interpretation for this film that I've seen:-
Just as good in fact as that collection of 3D embossed DVD tins (one of a lovely-looking collection in similar style which includes several of the numbered classics including MULAN, DINOSAUR etc. as well as THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, MICKEY'S ONCE UPON A CHRISTMAS among others):-
etc.
Anyway, back to the steelbook itself: delightfully quirky (lol) but with a first class treatment - the first Zavvi Disney UK Numbered Classic with two levels of embossing and one of debossing . . . accounting for the 'creasing' to Basil's ear and lantern where they meet the framing border . . . coupled with a great finish and great artwork both inside and out making for a worthy addition to the Zavvi Disney steelbook line.
This has been the best thread on here for a long time. The amount of information and the usual UK US banter has been great to read. What tops it off is that the Steel is excellent as well
Reading all the titles in other countries always reminds of the UK Robbie Coltrane film "The Pope must Die" which was changed to "The Pope must Diet" in the USA. Still makes me chuckle!
Received this and Rescuers, both have defects. This one has a scratch/gash in the paint. But it’s smooth. Never done an exchange before but gonna try. Hope it’s not too complicated sending back from US

It’s been a while since I’ve had to return to Zavvi, but they used to either give you a partial refund or ship out a new one without having to return the damaged one.
I may be thinking of Zoom then. I know I returned some steels 2-3 times before and it ended up costing me more than it was worth. It may have been Zoom... I thought Zavvi as well but maybe not.

I don’t know how complicated it will be, since it’s my first time exchanging. I messaged them and awaiting reply. If they offer partial refund, I’ll probably accept it and be done with it

If it’s damaged bad enough, you can deny the partial refund a ask for a replacement. That’s up to you, if it’s a ding or a scratch vs it’s bent like a boomerang.
