Oh and be warned... Play.com use the same packaging as any normal steel...Can you tell which one has Batman in it?

p.s. noticed play.com have also changed the packaging, so you have to unpeal the front cardboard to get inside... like most of you I like to re-use these boxes. got a sore thumb now

what a waste. that would have been AWESOME if it were not a jumbo.
and really, what use are the dvd and digital copies.
Does anyone who collects blu ray steelbooks EVER use a dvd or digital copy?
i get it with kids films, the kids can take the dvd to play in thier room, or put the digi copy on an ipod or whatever, but with mroe mature themed films it seems pointless.
the only time the dvds ever get used out of any of my triple plays, are when i lend them to friends and family-which is essentialy taking money from the industry, as they wont be renting or buying it themselves (unless its really good and worth owning)
The ONLY other use would be to encourage people who are not yet sold on blu ray, to buy the triple play so they have the blu ray for futures sake, but surely such people wouldnt buy a collectors edition steelbook thats only available online...

other than that, the artwork looks pretty good.any inside artwork too?
would have been amazing as a regular steel.

Still not conivinced by the jumbo i hate them with a passion, saying that i have the jurassic park de jumbo which i must convert , i'll be sticking with my french rls and german and japan versions ..

I'm guessing this will have been packed in a larger box if you've ordered from HMV/Amazon, meaning it obviously won't fit through most people's post boxes. So if like me, your normal postie usually leaves the larger packages to the van postie (who tends to come later), then there's still a chance it might arrive today!

I still find it odd how the front cover and the spine lists the films as 'The Dark Knight' then 'Batman begins' yet now seeing the J card, it has the films info in the correct order of Batman Begins and the The Dark Knight....
