Thanks

Never had to do a return to Play.com before. But anyone notice when you request a return on the site it says we will arrange a time for a courier to pick up your item? Then they emailed me after just saying to return it to the address provided. Also they ask for you to return it in the original packaging which is fine, but the email states they will refund your postage up to £1.40 unless you email them your receipt. The boxes Play ship steels in definitely cost more than £1.40 to post, just more hassel i guess.

I've always returned items 1st class recorded delivery to them, which is usually around £3-4, and then e-mailed them a picture of the proof of postage receipt, and had a postage refund after a couple of hours... no problems doing that so far.

Good to hear. Will be doing that.

Mine arrived, i have a couple of light scratches and 2 small embossed dents ON THE FRIKKIN FRONT!

I ain't gonna go through the hassle for a replacement, Play is not amazon on that matter

:-(

I think the restock by Play has pretty much killed the secondary market value of this one. It's going to be easily available for quite some time.

I give it a couple of days. No more

Normally when titles have sold out prior to release it is because they (Play) had to turn them off manually to stop the title over selling (as mentioned by apsmith and Wreck)

The other titles sold out as soon as they were turned back on release day. This is a bit more niche so isn't flying through the residual stock at such a rate. But we've been told it is nearly sold out and that's good enough for me

Besides, who cares if it isn't worth shed loads by the day it gets released? It is a frickin' sweet steelbook way better than so many others released so far and it will gain in value as it deserves. I'm happy to watch it rise over the next year or so and use my spare to trade when it's time. So many people seem to be in such a rush for a quick win. Just sit back and enjoy the steels for what they are ;)

VRob - this isn't aimed at you mate, just used your quote as the latest one.
