One copy has your number 1.

The rest have the raised paint spots. Unfortunately, the paint is missing and looks silver on the black surface EEK!

If any member took part in a GB, please except these minor imperfections as the host cannot guarantee perfection...
Agree with the last point although I think you meant expect :hilarious:, we do try mind :D Overglue has caused countless problems on my CBS.

Quality control is all over the place on the Scanavo steelbooks. All of my early DVD and Blu-ray steelbooks were of very high quality compared to releases from the last year or more.

Really pissed off at play right now... Apparently my BR and TED steelbooks were returned to play and they issued a refund to me. They never told me why or what happened...

Same thing has happened to me apparantly! I have been waiting for my two BR steels for weeks. Got two emails from play today saying my play.com return have been received and refunded.

This is a really big blow. I was so looking forward to this.

Fyi, the steelbooks come back, because apparently play.com doesn't write the prices on the outside of their steelbooks anymore. I had a note in my letterbox the other day that my shipment (two battle royale steelbooks) are with customs and because they can't define the price I should drive to the customs office with a bill.

Well...I didn't drove 50km and i think the steels will go back.

We are sorry that you did not receive your order. As 5 working days have passed since it was posted we will now assume that it has been lost in the post.

The item is currently out of stock and we are not able to reorder it for you at this moment in time. Therefore I have processed a refund for you. You will receive the refund back into your bank in the next 3-5 working days.

At least you got a letter, my orders went straight back to play. They refunded me but I had to pay a fee because apparently it was an "unwanted order" (!).

I was able to order another copy after it came back in stock, but I still want to badly hurt someone at play ...
Now I'm hoping the steel I ordered will arrive OCD, but I'm ready to be disappointed again ...

btw where do you live and how many steels did you order ? This always seems to happen to me when I order more than 2 steelbooks

I live in germany. If they send more than the value of 25-30€ in one package the chance is very high that it gets stuck with customs.
If they write the value on the package like they did before you get the package and have to pay the customs directly to postman.
If they don't write it on the outside of the package like they did with my 2 battle royale steelbooks you can make a ride to the next customs office.....;)

Almost right !

Even with the price printed on the outside of the box ,customs can hold your package until someone (either you or someone you appoint or you have done an internet custom claim) opens it and takes a look at what is inside. Customs is not allowed to open the box WITHOUT your permission.

And that brings me to the "drive by customs" - ive been doing this for years, and i can tell you from alot of experience... you DONT have to DRIVE to customs. If you do an online internet custom form then the package will be delivered to you at home.

What do you think people do who live 100 Kilometers from the next custom office? Customs has recognized that it is a long way to journey so they have offered an internet form for exactly this purpose.

If you need any help or have any questions about this , just call your customs and tell them you are not able to come by that they should give you information on how you can do the claim online. They will then gladly tell you what and how to do it.

So and now back to the on topic of this steelbook.

BTW i really did like this steelbook - the black is very nicely done.

Take care
John
