To be fair #2 has the disadvantage of showing only the front here, because unlike the others the front art has been thought out as complementary to the back art (and #2 has pretty cool inside art as well):

Sadly it doesn't look like Vince Gilligan & Peter Gould will get to see back arts to make their decision, so #2 (which I quite like overall, Plain Archive also designed their Wrestler steelbook that way) will probably not make the cut because it only works when you see the full picture, and let's hope #5's back art is pretty good!
I personally would be thrilled if #1 or #5 get picked and would be pretty happy if it's #2 or #6.
#7 makes me think of Entertainment Store's Anchorman 2 steelbook

Hopefully yes, Danny Trejo was a cool guy too but he didn't pick the best one! Lol!
I'm not sure actually. I just assumed that was the case really.
