I can't help wondering if FA were made to hold off on this by Sony until all other releases were available first?

I've wondered this before in the past with timings of some retailers announcements. I wonder if distributors make it a condition of license sometimes to delay announcement until regular edition is sold out. Trying to think of specific examples now..
