Blu-ray/Movie you just purchased or watched thread

Based on horror they suck, but based on the plot story, each one only gets better but 90% of the people that go see it, go see it only for the killing/gore..
It's been a while since I bought movie but I finally did. I preordered Watchmen, I bought Role Models and Full Metal Jacket
I haven't bought one for a long time either. Thinking about getting Watchmen, but I'm definitely getting Fast and Furious on July 28th!
bought and watched Defiance last night. Good flick and looks great on Blu! My only complaint is that about 1.5 hours into it so much had happened that it seemed like it wshoulkd have been ready to end but it didn't. Man alot of stuff went down with those folks in the woods.
It was better than I thought it was going to be. I also just purchased Ghostbusters!

Is Watchmen any good?
Well....It's not a film for everybody. It has a deep meaning/purpose behind it and it's got somegood fight scenes. It's not ur average superhero movie. None of them have powers except Dr. Manhattan. (blue guy) Honestly, I would suggest a rent or scan through some of the comic book. If you like some of the comic book, you'll love the movie!
i finally bought and watched the wrestler tonight. what a great movie and performance from Mickey. i'ts kinda cool to see him make a bit of a comeback with this flick. I must say, the might glen-bob shed a tear during this film. F***ING EMOTIONS!!!! Also bought Coroline but haven't watched yet. I saw JCVD at the wallmart for 10 bucks last week but wanted to check other stores to see if they were selling it for the same price. guess what, they're not and by the time I got back to the walmart this wek they were all gone...D'OH!

Bought my son Dude, Where's My Car? for his birthday. Funny movie! At least I remember it being that way!
I heard that the commentary was funnier than the movie.
I watched the Watchmen, I liked it more than I thought I would.
It's been a while since I've seen Dude so it may not be as funny anymore, but will check out the commentary.
I really enjoyed Watchmen but Chris aka Bighorns didn't like it as much. I loved..... hold on a sec..... Rorschach! Had to look up how to spell that on Wikipedia.
I really don't like to misspell things!:eek:
the blue man guy with his balls & nut sack swinging away is quite retarded,the whole super hero feeling to it is okay...but its really slow to start up at times & then the action/drama starts happening....i found it an okay movie,theres some parts i like & others i felt like seen a million times like where the guy was dodging bullets matrix style so that part wasn't Sh#t to me in the words of being done before...
6/10...nothing ground breaking of what my hopes were....Wait till you see terminator salvation on blu-ray...that movie is deadly...its like really good then what i thought it was gonna be.
Yeah, i rented the dvd for a dollar... glad i didn't buy it... it was just okay..
