Homie gets everything early over there lol.

Well I just got Hulk w/slip cover from a buy from a member @ br

They sell it at Amazon with the slip cover, I was the same I refused to buy it at Target because it didn't have the slip cover and I ordered on Amazon and it came with the nice slip cover, my gf thinks I am an idiot for doing that lol :)

slip covers are the sh!t, and make the value of it worth more to collectors, on DVD and blu-rays alike. If you haven't already noticed SlipCovers 99% of the time are only released during the first run/ initial print ... after that they resort to just the case to save money on packaging.

From a merchandising retail perspective slip covers stand out a bit more and encourage consumers to purchase the product on an impulse buy by seeing their movie over the others. It also works well with collectors who know this and then will buy the movie release day or within the first month in hopes to obtain the slip cover, and in the case of the HULK it really stands out more so than other slip covers with the 3d look ... others resort to embossing of sorts like The Golden Compass slip covers. Studios see this as a cheaper alternative then SteelBook packaging which obviously stands out and has alot of collectors and buying power as well.
