I really want to see this movie, but i'm gonna wait a bit. $27 for a regular blu-ray is too steep for me.

I'm going to wait closer to the street date to see what prices best buy and target will have it at. I'm thinking the price will come down more. I'm leaning towards the Target exclusive.

Hey guys, I paid $10 for it, so it was not too bad:) And FYI Walmart has it for under $20 with free to home shipping. The Target Exclusive and Futureshop Exclusive seem to just have a Digital Copy, but if it turns out it has extra content, I'll be cancelling my order for my $10 BD. I loved this film, and have contacted a few other sources to inquire regarding any Limited Eds, or possibility of Steelbook down the road. But since Fox Searchlight is part of Fox, which usually doesn't like to do Special Eds in North America, it may not happen. Still keeping my fingers crossed:)

Good price for it DB! I may pre-order from walmart then. For some reason though, I'm liking the red slip more than the white one...hmmm

Nice!! The $20 pricetag is more like it.I definately like the red slip from target the best, but i have yet to use a digital copy from any movie, i just let them sit here and expire. I'm sure amazon will end up lowering their price before the release date.

They already did. Currently $19.99.

Just watched the Masters of Cinema release of The World.
Fantastic picture quality from HD Cam master, but the story at 140 mins. dragged a bit.
