Books that you read just because they were becoming a movie?

Have you ever read a book solely because you knew they were making a movie of it!? This is happening to me more and more (I read the entire Hunger Games trilogy before the first film came out. And now I just started The Host).

Post on here what Books you have done this for. Any personal favs?

The only book I read before seeing the movie version was To Kill A Mockingbird. I have to say that the movie really did justice to the book imo.

The ones that instantly spring to mind are Silence of the Lambs and We need to talk about Kevin.

I recently read "All you need is kill" as I heard its a Tom Cruise film coming out next year.
The concept really appealed to me, but after having read it I think the casting is totally wrong.

I read the Tom Clancy novels before the movies came out. As it turns out, I disliked the movie after reading the book...lol
