Fantastic Looking Steelbook

Brilliant improvement on these new releases

Cinderella/Bambi/Brave :drool::thumbs::scat::LOL::LOL::LOL:

Aladdin is now no longer the best looking and I bet no one expected that to be beaten

Amazing looking all of them

Cant wait now to find out what 17-20 will be
Robin Hood and Alice in Wonderland should look amazing

Goodbye Matte finish
Hello Glossy

Thank You Disney for listening to your Customers

Speak for yourself. Brave is nowhere near the overall quality of Aladdin imho

blinded by the gloss? :dunno:

I reckon this pushes the viva very very close

not even close imho.

only thing that falls short is the back cover imho

still a great looking steelbook all the same

The front falls short aswell, the only good thing about it is the title which the viva does better, looks as though the creepy horse is pushing it off center and the focus is on the horse more than Merida with a randomly black spine all make for a poor effort
imho

gloss can be blinding. ;)

I said Cinderella/Bambi/Brave in that order
in first place been Cinderella ;)

Cinderella is way better than Aladdin
Compare them in the Flesh not by Photos
Have you got Cinderella ?????
Its beats Aladdin
Cinderella is a beauty of a steelbook the best yet

We still have Alice in Wonderland and Robin Hood coming and they could end up better than Cinderella :D

In the Flesh Cinderella is tops right now
Aladdin second best so its no longer the best
In my opinion

Next Week I will post comparison photos of all the Disney Steelbooks in Release Order in the Disney Thread and ask for a vote on the best looking steelbook so far

not being funny paul, but have you got cinderella in the flesh or are you judging by pics yourself?

also doesn't make a difference to me which is better aladdin or cinderella
they both look great imho but why in your opinion is cinderella better than aladdin?

Yes I have it in the Flesh it a beauty

I have them all that have been released so far (Including Planes :emb:)

It just my opinion but in the next few days I expect lot of others to say the same
There will be some of course who have different preference and that's fine if they prefer a different one
End of the day its the individual choice whats the best one for them that counts and for some its not Aladdin or Cinderella
But I will be interested to see in next few weeks if Aladdin is still considered the best overall

that's fair enough, just surprised you didn't post a pic of cinderella if you already have it like you usually do!

I am very tempted to order this steelbook, but the backside art could be better. And I just don't like front being dark and back white.

I am PRAYING that Wall-E & Ratatouille steelbooks would be as nice looking if they are ever released.

i dont get why jungle book gets no love. in my opinion that is a really nice steelbook too. lovely rich green. its up there with Aladdin.

i'l say it again but the finish is just that- the finish. i dont believe the gloss hype, although it can and does improve a steelbook which already has the ingredients to be great- good art.

if the steelbook doesnt have good art, then simply applying gloss wont make it great. it will just be a poor glossy steelbook.

in my opinion, brave is just that. which is quite frustrating because it had potential. poorly framed, inconsistent/clashing art.. how can anybody consider it to be a nice looking steelbook ? lol the gloss doesnt fool me. they are literally glossing over bad art.

the arrangement of the text on cinderella annoys me, but at least the art is good, and the gloss enhances the art.

and that is the main point- the gloss should enhance the art. if the art is rubbish the gloss wont make a difference, it will just be glossy rubbish.

Still glad I cancelled this as the art just leaves me utterly cold, but nice to see Zavvi pulling out the stops on the lovely finish of this one.
