Of course you can... but seems there is a high chance of getting a spine splash so kind of pointless

Received my copy this morning; gorgeous steelbook and entertaining movie too. I seem to avoided the spine slash epidemic on this, but there is something knocking about inside. Doesn't sound like a loose disc, but is there an insert inside? Am in no hurry to open it up to find out, but if anyone who has opened their copy can confirm this I would be very grateful.

hope mine arrives without a slash it will not be cost effective to have to ship it back from here in the states.
I guess since I am in the states they don't do long distance phone calls

Mine arrived today no spine slash, it actually looks better in hand a lovely Steelbook.
It's good to hear that Zavvi have phoned a customer to deal with their complaint, it's a step in the right direction.

Returned home last night after working away all week to be greeted with my copies of Bambi, Brave and Cinderella.

Fortunately, all three are in mint condition with no spine slashes or other defects - so far as I can see, anyway.

Very impressed with all three, and definitely a return to the standards set initially by the releases of Aladdin and Finding Nemo. Now, if only they could have maintained these same high standards for all their other Disney releases in-between for consistency...
