Canada wave 2 defective steelbooks?

Hello everyone,

Almost every steelbook has a dent on the front (bottom left hand corner). You will see it after you removed the blue sticker.

I got mine from amazon Canada.

The dent is underneath the blue sticker.

Hi Freedom-so these dents are on Steelbooks in your order? Your post sounded like every Canada Wave 2 Steelbook released had dents after being manufactured Have you contacted Amazon.ca to get a refund? I don't have any dents on my Canada Steelbooks-do other people have this problem?

I believe some folks on other forum(s) are reporting a similar defect. It might have been a storage issue, or something to do with the shrink wrap process.

The reports sound similar in that the defects appear under the blue sticker on the bottom left front.

I don't think this is the same thing as the manufacturer defects we've seen before - like with some copies of the Hangover or Terminator 3.

I got the replacement and all have the same dents underneath the sticker. I am going to return all of them.

I went and opened mine.

I only ordered two - Heat and Batman Begins.

Heat came in pristine. But on Batman Begins, there's a very faint indentation where the sticker was. It's not as distinct as the staple mark from previous defects, but it was noticeable when I ran my finger over that spot.

A very slight indentation on mine, not a dent, but it's there.

yup my Batman Begins has it (very small tho, I'll live with it).... I pulled off the sticker on one my Heats ( I bought 2) and it doesnt have it .. so I'll leave sealed and then open the other ;p

I've seen worse, believe me, so I know some folks won't be bothered with it.

The question I have is what titles were affected (if not all).

The indentation is fixable. I removed the front and pressed against the dent from the inside.
