I agree. Then I look at Suicide Squad. Nova beat the other premium retailers to the punch and that's still in stock. Rewind a few months back with their BvS release where that sold out in a day and Nova beat the other premium retailers to the punch with that as well.

Yes, for Marvel, had Nova beat BF to the punch for CA3, all editions would probably be sold out. I do think though that because collectors have several options nowadays, people are holding out on Nova releases, knowing that BF will release a WEA product irrespective of who puts their products out first.

Yeah the premium release stuff now is very saturated between zeta, blufans, kimchi, nova, manta, fac , and who knows maybe im missing another. But for the most part they mostly all do a lot of the same titles. A few of those guys do however do a few titles that you wouldnt normally get. All about picking and choosing these days, and sometimes it makes going back to just picking out the quality steel minus the fluff an attractive option. heh.

We can name drop Suicide Squad and BVS as duds for Nova based on the lack of immediate sell out but we all know if those steelbooks had the extended version in then it would have been a different story altogether. Jungle book will sell out eventually too but I think that's just down to popularity and time of year /currency conversion. Look at Dredd and Nightcrawler, awesome movies but not as popular as your Marvel movies.

I weren't into these foreign editions before last year so can someone tell me if it took long for Novas Begin Again to sell out? Just curious as that's quite an odd ball release when lined up with the rest (was a great movie also)

Yes Begin Again took quite a long time as well to get sold out, I bought mine many many months later. I prefer them doing interesting movies even though they may take longer to sell, as if not all we would have from every retailers are re-vamped over and over Marvel Titles.

Perhaps so as those were def kick in the nuts when local retailers were offering full-on packages of all content minus either a 3d or 4k disc, but I also think each of those movies for the masses fell WAY below expectations by looking at reviews alone too. So I think it makes it a lot harder for people to rush out and grab the premium edition for lackluster movies or those with little rewatch value that also lack in content. Mix all that in with competition in the marketplace and we may see a downward trend in selection if this continues. (course that doesn't happen overnight)

Hopefully we'll see this shipped within the next couple of weeks considering Suicide Squad was dispatched today weeks in advance (original release date, Jan 6)

Definitely tempting but I think Fullslip b will be the weakest out of the bunch

Maybe but I went for B because it was different from the BF steel artwork which I'm not a great fan of anyway....even though I got a 1-click  I wonder what the inevitable Nova Exclusive will bring to this release, hopefully they will have some radically different artwork.

I wouldn't say an exclusive is inevitable, they've only released one exclusive of a prior nova choice so far and it's faced quite a bit of backlash. I think they've learnt their lesson

What was that or are you referring to AOU which hasn't really been shown yet?

I agree by the way, very much doubt they'll be a Nova Exclusive for Civil War, not unless they feel they can do something really special with it but like AOU they'll do well to top the slips they've done for the NC release
