Not sure if I misunderstood your post, but once you confirm an order on NM's site, then it takes you to Paypal's site afterwards.

Yep that should be the case mate, some websites allow you to link your paypal account when you sign up for quicker use so you don't need to sign in again. Looks like this site will ask you to sign into paypal to pay after you have gone through the check out process

Ah, ok. I understand what you're saying now.

At least it seems that you can confirm your order to lock in your purchase, then worry about the payment process later.

Unlike with Kimchi, I've lost a few pre-orders when trying to pay, because it sold out. Will be interesting to see how this one goes.

Is PayPal the only payment method they will be accepting? I was hoping they would have an option to pre-load a credit card...

i was an anccount yesterday but now i try to get my email confirmation but they didn't send me ... so my account is not complete.. anybody can help me

wait, how do you lock in the purchase?

What I meant was that once I confirmed an order in the checkout process, then it seemed to place the order, and then took me to the Paypal site. So to me, it seemed that the order was placed ("locked") before I technically paid for it. So it seems that the checkout/payment process is in two separate, but seamless steps.
