Well someone got a response....from facebook

"We really sorry what you lost your important times. we didn't know our server was shut down, quickly. We will move to another server, soon. and then we will announce new pre-order date, soon. Please, forgive us"

Another message on facebook
We have to research about the shut down issue. And then we can make new pre-order date. Please, forgive us.

I've experienced the same problems as everyone else. After managing eventually to log in at 11.50 it's been a series of blank pages and error messages with no end result.
Sort of Log in, Die Repeat :(.

OK new message on facebook
We didn't know our server was shut down. :( We faced the server problem is so difficult. we will move to another server. And then we will announce new pre-order date.

So we get to go with this madness on another date LOL
I doubt anyone got an order in so its not sold out

Amateurs, if your first exclusive goes live...

As a company you should be on top of everything. Meaning also to monitor site traffic and issues. Dont tell me Nova was just sitting back and relaxing and thinking everything will be a-ok.

Another negative point of Nova. Nah, i''m done. No second chances. No professionalism to detect here.

In retrospect Novamedia was biting off way more than they could chew announcing CA2 as their first exclusive. The demand is way too high, and they don't have the infrastructure. Kimchi's first exclusive was more down to earth. They should have gone with something like Drive to test the waters first. I honestly don't see anything more than an apology coming form them, which is fine as long as they don't keep screwing up their releases.

when CA is your first exclusive you better have all your guns blazing..don't think they were prepared for this..

It's still unacceptable that they took so long to announce on Facebook!
Their great at announcing exclusives and posting pretty pictures, but surely they had some idea of what to expect on a Marvel pre order day?!! I mean they must have some clue as to the madness that Kimchi has been through on days like this...:muted: :ohno:

Clunky servers is an understatement!!   There are enough great CA editions out there so they need to offer some kind of better discount or sweeten the pot some more for the time lost trying to access their site that we will never get back...:stop:

In my opinion
They should have run tests with test site to see what happens with lot of traffic requests and see what amount of traffic requests would cause their server to crash and at what stage this would happen
If they had done this they then would have known the server they had would not have been capable to handle this release and before launch moved to a better server in the first place

For people saying they will give up just because of this server incident and never order from them again are overreacting a bit. I agree that they should have announced within 15 minutes of the issues that they were going to delay it but problems like this are expected on new websites and new servers, especially with high traffic. I have worked in web development before and we had issues like this when our site was new. And sometimes as much as you may want to have better server speeds it might just be that they are a new company and can't afford the size server that we all want.

That all being said I would prefer a group buy for this one. And I'll go one farther. I would prefer the GB to take place on BR forums because they have better servers than HDN.

As per Nova FB
Unfortunately our web server shut down after a high volume of traffic. The server is now closed and will have to be moved to a larger server. We can't apologise enough and we are determined to solve all of the issues ASAP and your continued support is more than appreciated.

* Nobody did succeed the order.
