This looks really nice, this along with Taxi are some of the better steels Zavvi has released as of late. May have to pick this up at some point in the next month or so.

Zavvi responded with RMA #. Going back for a refund. Shame that the Steelbook looks average and not as described.

i received my copy today and it was damage (dent). Waiting Zavvi reply so i hope i will get a full refund.

Good grief. How does something like that happen? I mean, did they toss the box into a pack of angry wolves? Did they play soccer with it? Accidentally drop it into a garbage disposal? It's amazing that any postal system on this planet would operate in such a way that would cause that kind of destruction to a small shipping box.

:wtf:

Dunno. The note on there from Japan Post says that it was brought into the country like that, so it happened in the UK or between here and there.

I trust them on this as I have had two packages in the past 9 years delivered here with notes from Japan Post and they took responsibility saying it happened in their system.

That's what happened with my Aladdin. Box was crushed on one end and it was in a big bag from the Post Office with their apologies. Not like it did any good since that was OOS and I couldn't get a replacement

Looks like the Zavvi box might have opened and the steel slipped out. I really wish they could start taping the box shut. Just seems to me like there isn't enough keeping it sealed

Not sure which version i should buy? the original Digibook release or this steelbook? any opinions anyone? This will also be a blind buy, never seen the film in which i hope it is good!

received mine today in mint condition. Was well protected. Thanks Zavvi. Feel a bit weird though that there is not french subs when you see the very long list of subs available. But hey, it will perfect my english :)

I got it. I was hoping for more, like the others. Better gloss, brighter picture. Heck, some of the member pictures in-hand look better than mine sealed. If this had been brighter, with more contrast, and glossy, it could have been real nice. I don't think edge embossing was worth the price to get title embossing. At least it showed up undamaged. Spaceship art looks as if it was pulled off the internet from an overcompressed jpg. No fine detail.

I sent mine back a few days ago and forgot to include the packing sllip with my details. £14 down and no steelbook to show for it! Hoping it either gets returned or Zavvi somehow works out it was mine!

Big time, that's exactly what I was thinking. The text on the spine stands out too as a bit cheap. I'm kind of regretting getting it now especially since I double dipped from the 2 disc digipak.

Yeah. I held back on this one myself until I saw actual pics of the item. And to be honest I'm happy I'm stuck with my digipack in the end. Which is a pity coz I love the film and I thought the Steelbook would be awesome :(

I know it fits in with the colour palette of the movie, but there's just too much use of the colour blue on the Steelbook for me. Just could have been so much better.

It's not entirely ugly, just disappointing, especially for a Sony release. I was just goin' to forget about it and keep the complete edition but the ocd collector in me just had to get it to go beside my E.T. steel

You're better off saving your cash man, stick with your original decision. Who knows it may drop in price in the future.
