Already executed order 66 on all my pre-orders. With my last 3 steels arriving slashed, I'm not prepared to waste my time fighting their customer service anymore. Only FDTD & P&G remaining.

Had originally decided I didn't need this since I have the 30th anniversary edition, but at this price I can justify double dipping....

Already cut back on preorders with Zavvi as well, but if they all start dropping in price like this may be picking up a few more steels after all.

Maybe that's because it's still sealed. I can tell the embossed title is nice and glossy though.

If it is glossy it is barely noticeable. I would say it is a matte finish all over, there's no gloss to my eyes.

They made the mistake of not including the second disc with the must have extras
That's why it did not sell well

£5.99 is a very good price
I expect they will sell out now at that price

Will the studios ever learn when extras are extensive as it was with this release and in fact the extras are better than the film itself

Message to film studios and distributors
DONT DROP EXTRAS FROM STEELBOOK RELEASES

They would have sold at full price all the 4000 if the steelbook was the full 2 disc version

* Sits and waits patiently for the Wicker man steel to drop to £6

I can see a few more of Zavvi's steels dropping too, yeah some titles will always sell quickly, maybe even sell out on preorder but as Play found out, quite a few hang around for months...some of Plays exclusives are still easily available now...maybe now they seem to find themselves with a warehouse full of unsold steels they will slow down a bit!

This didnt sell at the price they want cause no one likes to be mugged off and miss out on a disc. Good to see the steelbook community didnt throw too much cash at these cases where they try and get away with the bare minimum.

Same here! I can't believe I haven't actually seen the movie either, given its classic status and references in pop culture. Great looking steelbook, and now an awesome price as well! Gonna get this one ordered!
