I think this would be unlikely to go OOS before release. Could be wrong though, maybe Wreck could get his hands on a stock level update?

Seems pretty split on weather people want this as a steelbook. For me, I grew up watching these classic 80's action flicks. Ordering this was a complete no-brainer!

guys Commando is on TV tonight :scat:

It's on ITV HD channel @ 22:35hrs (10:35pm) so if u have doubts like me u can watch it for free before deciding weather its worth owning a SB of it :D :D :D

Haha, that was sooooo cheesy. I forgot how much you have to suspend belief with old action movies. :D
Arnie mows down dozens of men whilst standing out in the open and doesn't get shot once!
Definite buy for me.

well i watched it and it wasnt too bad lol better than his other lower profile movies from that time like Raw Deal or Red Heat, but still way below his best 80's movies Terminator & Predator.

Commando was pretty dumb throughout like that chick randomly blowing up a police truck with an RPG to free arnie who then walks out without a scratch lol - and yeah that Village People bad guy is probably the scariest thing i ever saw :hilarious:

but there were some cool little easter eggs in it too - like that dude from predator as one of the henchmen, and bill paxton from Aliens as a US Army radio officer - i really like that large caliber assault rifle Schwarzenegger uses too :movie:

The sound however was terrible, really poor bad-vhs quality - but overall the movie was pretty entertaining and amusing in a cheesehead dumbass sort of way :)

I'd would prefer to get this for play.com £10.99, but maybe i could let it slide & pay £15 depending on how nice the steelbook is in-hand pictures

i also watched it on tv but in HD, the picture was a lot better than the amary bd i bought a few years back hope the zavvi version is remastered.

Watched this on TV the other night, it was so crappy that I just had to pre-order it! :scat:

[Matrix has thrown a pipe through Bennett]

Matrix: Let off some steam, Bennett.

Made me choke on my dinner :hilarious:

Caught the end last night myself. Still as crap as I remember. I can't wait to own this !. :hilarious:

Crap? That's being kind. It's bloody awful, but mindless fun. :D

Last time I watched this was a few months back and I ended up counting all the errors in it. There are literally hundreds of them throughout, most notably the Porsche scene. :hilarious:

Let me tell you...this movie was NOT corny, if you were around in the 80´s!
Times were different....when First Blood premiered (1982) people were doing push ups in the cinema halls! Thoose were the days...now it´s a bunch of horny vampires and werewolfs making out (Twilight etc)

Rant over! :)
