It's a real beaut. My fave UK design of the year thus far along with Super 8. It seems we're being spoilt in the run up to Xmas!

Also of note is that I bought this today straight off the shelf in HMV. No-one staff wise seemed too bothered that they were breaking street date (Final Destination 5 and Devil's Double which share the same release date certainly weren't on the shelves).

For those who prefer (or have the ability) to pick it up in person rather than chancing the potential perils of the mail, seeing as it's the same price online - might be in for an early Xmas treat

Indeed, and I think it will only become more prevalent when the VAT Import levy is relaxed to £19.99. Previously most UK Steelies were £17.99 or below at HMV online. Since they ship from Jersey they will take full advantage or the price allowance. Nearly every recent exclusive release of theirs has been the same price in-store as on-line:

etc.

Boo to the price hike - hooray for the ability to take selection out of the hands of the warehouse peeps and Royal Mail.

Last time i went into my local HMV they had pirates steelbook at 24.99 lol, now thats a joke considering the online price. I too prefure to go pick my own copy but dont your locals use that crappy wrap around security tape?

:welcome: meedermow. Was in HMV store yesterday and this was being played on the screen, certainly looked great PQ wise. Couldn't see it anywhere on sale though.

Thanks also for the pics. Looks very nice. Just hope that they don't emboss/deboss every title just cos they can or will devalue (from an artistic viewpoint) all the other embossed/debossed Steels.

My local is Enfield. They had it both in the chart (!!) and also alpha sorted. Went into Trocadero this afternoon and no sign. So certainly not everywhere. Hope I didn't send you out of your way Chief!

Yeah, same here. Got mine yesterday and the box was all smashed. I should have just refused it, but I opened it anyway..... small dent along the spine Asked for a replacement/refund. Haven't heard back yet.
