I can't believe there isn't a thread in here strictly for Beer. Well now there is.

So I'm going to Phoenix and this store is about 3 miles from the house I am renting. I need some recommendations of beer they sell. I'm looking for Hoppy beers please. I've had a few of them they sell but not allot. HELP ME OUT!

Thanks

BoB

Nice haul. I've got a bottle of Tilquin gueuze to pick up on my way home today.

I need to post a pic, while nothing real special ... I did get a blue moon mixer pack ... has quite a few diff ones and a new one (havent tried yet) Blue Moon Agave ... sounds interesting ... we'll see.

Where and how did you get two bottles of ISO:FT? EEK! I've been hunting for that one for quite awhile.

Nice pick up of the Black Tuesday btw.

The Bruery has been releasing a new bottle every day of May, just so happens that two days ago it was ISO:FT. I went yesterday to see if they had any Black Tuesdays left from 3 days ago and they had like 3 boxes opened of ISO:FT. They had a limit of one per person.

Wow! Nice catch.

I am going to try and go again because I want another bottle of the Fruet :p

I am also hunting down a Chocosaurus Rye which is one of their collaboration releases, but it's hard to find.

gotta be nice living within driving distance of the bruery :scat:

although, i cant complain too much myself. while i don't have great access to a lot of whales, i sit at a good intersection of my favorite beers that are moderately easy to find (surly furious, odell ipa, three floyds zombie dust) :)

I live about 25 minutes away now as opposed to before.

Around 12 on Tuesday local time an good friend(coworker/gamerfriend and beer guru) texted me that Ølbutikken(same store that sells cantillon blåbär) was gone put some brews up for sale that had been made specially for the sour and bitter festival held some weeks before which I couldn´t attend becuase I was working and heard about it too late, toke the next buss to town and met up with my friend on the train over to copenhagen, it hurt my bank account very much since I also picked up some extras that I had been eying online for some time

a side not, yes wreck that oak aged la trappe was really nice to some cheeses, for referens it was an batch 7 I was having

Wow I hate you right now. Lol I wish I could get those beers in the US. Except for lost abbey

been off the beer trail for awhile, but i swung by my local store to see what they had in stock. got some decent haul, nothing crazy.

4 pack of 8-bit ale (off sent me one of these, really liked it glad to see it distros to WI)
sixpoint mixer 2x resin, apollo, and bengali tiger
southern tier creme brulee (for my wife)

and also got a bottle of GI juliet. not sure how rare it is in my state, but there was a limit 1 bottle. it was $18.99 which made me hesitate a bit for a new beer that i haven't heard much about, but i figured it has blackberries in it so why not.

i passed up two bruery beers: white oak (14.99) and Fruet ($29.99). i think id really like Fruet, not sure how rare it is, but for $30 its gonna take a lot for me to bite. plus the store had plenty in stock.

let me know if you guys think i just run back there and grab that Fruet ;)
