Update: I've notified the seller and he offered to ship a new package to me. Let's see if it arrives in good condition this time....

Received mine last week. My gift pack was not opened by customs but the plastic box packaging was also trashed contents are perfect though. The plastic "box" product packaging they use is very thin and brittle. It would have been nice if they would have used a box for international shipments.

@BoyToy; any chance of the email address of the Distributors so I can try and get replacement plastic case for the Gift Sets for the members here. I have the address at home on the letter they sent with the signed copy. If it could be PM'd that would be great.

same here... bought from ebay from blu-ray-dvd and now the seller refused all responsability... suggested to send me a replacement box (at my cost).
I'm very angry with his attitute, as he promised to pack it very very well but then the amature used a very thin layer of bubble then pieces of cardboard glued together to make the packaging?!?!?

And won't send me a replacement of the full package claming that already lost a lot of money just to ship the package etc...


By the way, is this item factory sealed (or with tape)??? I mean, have the plastic case replace.... would that means I have to open my original box? Cause I only collect sealed items. Thanks

Just so you're aware victors, "Muffaddal" that terry quotes above in post #86, is from the Production company itself, see the attachment on my earlier post. If enough people email in maybe they will do something but don't get your hopes up. With mine the contents were fine it was just the exterior box and the "gift tray" that were cracked. The data sheet was torn across the top but that was a minor issue as mine was signed by producer and director.

I forgot to mention that the box was cut.. probably by Indian customs because it wasn't touched my the portuguese customs (they would leave a note of inspection)...

Is there any source we can get this boxset with pristine box?

Update: I just opened the thin bubble wrap and found more crack in the box

My packaging was totaly shot, (thanks DHL ) but the steelbook, poster and book all ok, just a shame as I now have nothing to keep these clean in to display

Same here.... got mine today in the mail from a seller from ebay. He promised to wrap it very well as to not get damaged. It arrived today, all wrapped up in 1 layer of bubblewrap and cardboard shims on the outside, but not on the sides. The corners of my gift pack are all damaged, as well as the inside tray and cardboard info sleeve on the back. (At that point, why not just pack it in a box and ship???) The SB and other contents seem to be in good condition, but like others, now I can't really display as a nice peace. Not too happy on this one.

But again, the steel is very nice, and the CD is as well, and those were the parts I really wanted.

Well, finally got my replacement today from boomboxindia on ebay. Same thing - arrived crushed in package .....put in cardboard, but not a real box. Although he shipped it at his cost, i mentioned it again to him. Let's see what he says.....

Sorry to hear this spawn. Even if they put a ton of bubble wrap around this box its still so badly made it would arrive damaged
