Do you boil, or use the heat gun method, to remove the spine?

I did the blow dryer on hot with low blowing, just gently moving it back and forth. Worked easy for both. Just need to goof-off or goo-b-gone to remove the adhesive

I've done the blow dryer, but thought about trying the boiling method next time. Just recently converted my 2 jumbos (monsters inc and up) to slim. Of course, those were a bit more difficult because of having to print and glue different spine art.
