It seems to be the same as it was before. I see no change in the cover or case. Maybe they finally got there hands on it and realized how awesome it is 
From what I read, I think he basically said that the metalpak is heavier than what a steelbook would be, and since it's G1 sized, it costs more to mail.
It's a bit confusing, but that's what I figured out from your link above. I don't believe it's a new case - it's the one that's been pictured on this thread previously.
Received an e-mail from Bert at lunchtime with a ship date of 7/8 but no tracking info though.

I think you might see it around 7/22 at the earliest. Just a guess on my end though - depends on customs, etc.
Has anybody opened their copy yet. I notice on the back it says netherlands subs, i hope they are not forced.

i know its G1,but easily the best Metalpak i've ever had in my collection.
the build quality is actually good and most importantly,very consistent.
that seems to be the Metalpak's biggest downfall,inconsistency with its build quality.
also my first Amber Heard Steel case

Received mine today. Didn't care if it was a Metalpak, Steelbook, IronPak, G1, G2, etc... Just had to have it for my collection and I love it! Thanks Bert!
