No matter how nice a lenti would be for this release, I don't know why we would want to hide the Korean steel as it is ''the one'' with the ''best finish'' out there, spot Gloss is impeccable...but I guess for the Lenti Lovers I can understand :p ...but I am a 1/4 slip Lover :hilarious:

Totally agree about the quality of the KR Steel. But I do love a good Lenti......... and I love Emily Blunt too so I could have the Lenti on the front and her on the back ;)

Received my empty steelbook for replacement which was wrapped like a steel so well protected, steelcase was not shrink wrap but they used such soft bubble wrap, steelcase is Flawless, so I just switched the slipcover and bonus stuff and really happy...wonderful customer service, they really show they care about their customers.
Thanks @psychoscot for having posted this option for damaged steel !

From Nova facebook :

Dear International Customers,

Today we want to advise you of our Nova Choice Collection #2 titled Edge of Tomorrow.
Many customers previously asked if we were going to be able to release edge of tomorrow with a Lenticular Slip.
At that time the publisher rejected our request for approval of a lenticular edition and just approved the Quarterslip version only.

Now after a long discussion with the Publisher they have agreed upon a Lenticular Release in 2015.
Please stay tuned for detail information about the Lenticular Edition of Edge of Tomorrow.

We will soon be posting the date/time for the pre-order as well as the price and any other relevent information.
we look forward to servicing you with wonderful releases in 2015 !

I hate to be the stick in the mud here, but does anyone else feel like this is kinda gimmicky? Like maybe Nova was sitting around thinking, "Hmmm...how do we get rid of all this over stock?"

How much overstock can there be if it sold out and selling for X amount of money on ebay.

Perhaps, but it's better to have a version out there that people want more than the current version collecting dust and rusting in the corner of the warehouse.

Agreed. That's a great way to look at it. I'm glad the response seems to be really good also and that there seems to be quite a few interested in this. Hopefully those that weren't able to get their hands on the 1/4 and those that didn't because they wanted a different version all get a shot at this one. No doubt it will be a nice edition.
