OMG I Loved your Unboxing Video !!! What Language are you talking in ? Seems like it could be German, it sounds AMAZINg it makes me want to learn this language. Please Post more of your Unboxing Video on here, you Rock !!!

I think I'll go as far as saying this is the best quality spot gloss finish ever made on a steelbook. If more matte steelbooks had the quality of matte this steel had on the non glossed areas I wouldn't hate matte so much.

I agree 1000%, Ultra smooth finish with spot gloss is far and away my favourite finish, especially if there are metallic highlights. I was looking at my copy of Zombieland from Play, which is also ultra smooth. I was thinking if only the title and/ or the burning Planet had spot glossing it would have been stellar.

Oh god yeah that would have seriously made Zombieland and awesome steel! [emoji41]

it is in fact quality, this nova and regular Korean since it is same steel, but the Japan is so appealing due to the Original Title and custom made japanese disks...

I think I might open a nova and a japan (but sealed though it's hards to see the difference)

Spot gloss finish has always been a favorite of mine, as to me it looks like more thought has gone into the steel (instead of just doing full gloss and full matte) as you have to select what will be glossed and what will be matte/smooth

I ordered two pieces, both came paint chipped. One very visibly under the shrinkwrap and the second under the stickers and back of the slip. Seem like an issue with this release :/

Both my copies have small chips as well. One has it on his neck and the other is directly in his eye, almost thought it was just part of the effect at first. Both are only visible at a certain angle.

Last Matte Finish that I found to be very good quality was Divergent Future Shop Exclusive, well above the general quality of a FutureShop Steel.

But I think I will open a Nova(or the regular Korea - as Nova stated it is the same steelbook) to enjoy this steel as it seems to be the best quality treatment but what I am disappointed with Steelbooks releases, I believe that they should have exclusive Disks made for the release and not use the general ones. That would be awesome. I think the Korean versions should have also the title written in Korean on the Disk itself like Japan does...This is one thing I love about Japan is that they have custom made disks for their releases and title also written in japanese..

Mine arrived with a cluster of fine scratches on the front gloss. Nova let me keep this.
The replacement (empty) steel arrived with a tiny ding on the front, again on the gloss area. A sharpie covered that up.
I don't get the 'shipped without the disc' thing. The disc itself is literally $1 to produce and the push of a button for them to burn!
