plenty of them judas's paul , they all sighn for city and chelsea to sit on the bench

Too right, to complete their English quota. He is not a top four player - I stand by that.

Damn mercenaries - feel bad for young kids watching footy these days - back in the 80's/90's it was all about Saturday kick offs and long term commitment.

R.I.P football loyalty

Never mind that lads, what about that b@stard back stabber Delph.

The biggest Judas in premier league history.

Everything that is wrong with footballers today. Loyal only to the ££££
I could not believe this when I saw it on Sky Sports News tonight!
He rejected them only last week, saying he wants to stay at Villa.
Money talks. There is no loyalty in football anymore.
Gonna be another bench warmer. Same as Wright-Phillips a few years back. Same goes for Begovic at Chelsea too.

Mate, I was angry, gutted and shell shocked.

Gave it the "I love the club" when he signed a new 4yr deal in January (but the sod had an 8 mill release clause in the background)

Six days ago he cancels his city medical, puts out a statement "I'm staying"

Then today he leaves and signs for city!! a complete tosser. Will become of of the most hated players down at Villa Park. He stuck the knife in.

No offence, but had this been Man U, City, Arsenal or Chelsea, he will have been murdered by the press, ex players etc.

I hope he rots and ends up at Sunderland ;)

You say United are a laughing stock. United are the benchmark for teams in the Premier League. United are in a transitional phase. It takes time to get back to where they 3 years ago, or so.
All opposing teams and fans see United as their biggest rivals. When United come to town, all the part time supporters come out of the woodwork, venting their spleens .
United are box office. We haven't won a trophy, aside from the Community Shield, in 2 seasons. But United will return to the top.
Remember those words!

Who do you support, btw?

They were the benchmark, not for last few years simply embarrassing making Moyes, what a global embarrassment that was.

Moyes season at UTD

1. It was the first time Man City and Liverpool and Everton did the double over United in Premier League.

2. It was first time United have ever lost to Swansea at home.

3. United suffered their first home defeat to Newcastle since 1972.

4. United went down to their first home defeat to West Brom since 1978.

5. United posted their worst home form in ten years.

6. United lost home and away to Everton for the first time since 1969/70.

7. It was the first time United have lost three in a row since 2001.

8. . United fail to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 1995.

9. United were eliminated in the FA Cup third round – something which happened just once under Sir Alex Ferguson

10. United suffer first league defeat to Stoke since 1984.

11. It was the first time United conceded a first-minute goal in the Premier League – Edin Dzeko for City

i think @bigwednesday0 is saying utd left a benchmark from when premiership started in 1992 , not their last 2 years of history. most teams have got history past the last 10 years you know
10 prem titles , 2 champs league 5 fa cups etc etc from 1992 to 2013 etc etc

Thank you Flash for all those facts. If I knew who you support, I could possibly reel off a lot more facts about your team.
Such as how your history simply does not measure up to even half of what United have achieved.

chelsea haha
but only prob followed them for 6 or 7 years , thats their history

Whatever you say, here was me expecting a good response to all that, ah well

As for Delph pretty funny he's giving all that I'm staying for my family , I'm not going to City I'm dedicated blah blah and still he's off, well he can look forward to a handful of games and then a nice seat on the ever extending bench with so many other players and then moved on quick as.

I mean £49m for Sterling?? WTF, is the financial fair play or does it not apply to City, all that for him is a joke it was already Monopoly money but that's a piss take it was only £50m for Ronaldo who's ten times the player Sterling is.

Anyone who really supports or knows anything about Chelsea knows we have a long history yeah before trophies etc but some bloody wonderful men have played for Chelsea, e.g Roy Bentley age 91 what a guy still comes to games.

Let's get back to the subject in MY opinion Degea for Ramos (money plus him) is a piss take on UTD's part .

I am by no means an Utd hater they were impeccable under Ferguson shame about since.

ohh are you playing the same "i was expecting a good response " or i was expecting an intelligent convo" because i used the word CUZ card"
well let me be the 1st to say , your talking utter bull***t about football. u aint got a clue about football and all your opinions on football dont make sence what so ever . as usual flash u ruin a decent convo on football between footy fans that have followed it for 20years plus to ur cheslki 6 year stint

Hahah as usual your lack of intelligence and clear childish tendencies take over.

You disagree that's fine, we were having a discussion. I know it's a GROWN up thing to do and you always feel so threatened that a woman may have an opinion and may actually know more about football than you. It's so funny when you can't just debate the issues you have to throw your toys out of the pram, "...you know nothing flash, blah blah blah..."

This is a football thread, not the whysoserious exclusive his opinion about football only thread.

Your attitude to simple discussion is always so amusing to me and your insult so unnecessary.

Anyway since this isn't your thread I will post in it all I like ;)

I thought more speculation more bids would have been put in for Gareth Bale, clearly struggling last season at Madrid, his own fans attacking his car is out of order.

@whysoserious?

Come on sweetheart , this isent like you . I get the passion and commitment even if I dont understand it .

Part of the reason I dont is how women are represented and made to be dunces when it comes to football. @Flash has LOADS more knolage than I ever will .

Only popped in to show the Hubby .

Feel even more excluded now from even wanting to do football .

Roll on the Rugby season .

Thanks Ann @Scary Hair I appreciate that :)

It's ok I am so used to it, it will always be a 'men's sport' and women can't possibly understand it it, but I've watched and read and gone to football for my whole life and had similar comments for decades.

ohhh so ur accusing me of being sexist now as well as thick?
haha
wow , its not my thread but u seem to talk utter sh**e everytime someone posts on here , ur comments throughout the night are laughable .
im done posting on here now , because its the flash talking shi*e thread now . its no longer a football thread

well done on the sexist card by the way , give ur self a clap:thumbs:

I didn't mention it before but was speaking to my friend Ann about her feelings on it actually. Your leaving because you have embarrassed yourself once again and can't just stay and discuss football with me or anyone else as you prefer to be the drama queen and waltz off. Carry on, as always I would actually like to debate topics with you but you can't sensibly do that so that's fine, see ya ;)

Ignoring all that nonsense.

My top four for next season

1. Chelsea
2. City
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool
