Here is my opinion on this, for what it's worth.

Flash - First of all, you being a female and liking football will never be an issue with me, or anyone else I have seen post here.

I think the sexism card is like the racism card, as it seems to get banded about when situations become heated.

I say this, not as an attack, but in the hope you see how your posts, probably not intentional, can be taken the wrong way.

You can very much impose your opinions too strongly, i.e Man United and the Moyes era. It comes across as everything you say is fact, when the basis of it is opinion.

Your obviously have strong opinions, but with that, others will too, especially the die hard fans of their football teams.

I'm sure if we came on here speaking of how average Chelsea were in the mid 90's, it would get your back up.

Like I said, this isn't an attack on you, but your wording could be a little bit more subtle - example

"It's funny about Delph" I didn't take offence, but it can be taken in the wrong context.

Again, I'm sure your opinion is welcome here, but someone times you will have to accept their will be a difference in opinion.

That's your opinion. As I said I wasn't pulling any women/sexism card but I do find it strange his reactions and what he says I find it hard to believe he would respond to a guy in the same way.

As for Moyes my statements regarding him are FACT. He is worst manager they have ever had and should never had been appointed and for their sake they came to their senses quick.

I am a football fan and no go on roll out any information on chelsea it won't bother me, I've been a fan too long I know we had very long barren spells but I've seen them through that's what true fans do. So sorry you are incorrect on that.

I don't 'impose' my opinion anymore than anyone else, it's just they are often not the mainstream sheep opinions so it gets peoples backs up and that's fine as I said I've had it forever but won't change my opinion. I think Degea is a terrible goalie, 100 people saying the opposite won't change that.

If we all had the same opinion how dull life would be.

I do find it funny about Delph coming out all dedicated then clearly more money or something was offered and he's going, he's not and he's going on, that's pretty funny,

We all have opinions and I'm always open to others. It is clearly others who can't accept I don't agree with them.

But thanks for your opinion :)

You see, this is where there is a contradiction, you cannot say you are not playing the card, then say "it would be hard to believe he would speak to man in the same way" - that's you flashing the card right there!

Moyes IMO is a great manager, given a team and job too difficult to achieve success in the short term.

I think he should have been given one more season, but the pressure from media, the fans and under performing players were the end of him.

However, I do think at best, he would have won a cup and finished top four - much like arsenal. But to do that he needed serious cash and he wasn't trusted, simple as. LVG has been, however.

Believe me, I am a Villa fan, so as you know, the last 5 years have been dreadful. However, continuous criticism of my team will draw a response. It does with everyone who shares the passion. That's why if we rattled the facts off it would eventually hit a nerve with you- it's human nature.

As for your opinions, I too share mine on here, but only if I think they are fair, constructive and serve a purpose. I only accept anyone challenging me, as it's all about the debate.

You admit you are not a sheep, so with that, the potential for some backlash is part of the package.

In any case, as I have said before, your gender will have nothing to do with you posting on here, so don't think its because you are a fem, it's because their is a difference in opinion.

Came back in on my phone so ANYTHING could happen.

That's your opinion. I have moved on but you've had to drag this on and on. If everyone is so obsessed with UTD and all their trophies and Chelsea's lack of, then that surely proves Moyes is a terrible manager so ridiculously empty handed manager.

Wenger is a great manager
Ferguson was an amazing manager
Pep guardolia is a great manager
Jose is a great manager, be careful on the use of the word 'great'

But only my opinion if I have your permission to say ;)

Back to the football if Sterling is £49m you wonder how much messi would be if someone was to try buy him and surely anyone trying to get Ronaldo now would have to be ridiculous amount as he is so much better than Sterling

Sir Alex was a legend there will never be a greater manager in football history and I say that as a Chelsea fan.

He breathed Utd and also a Ger :)

Permission granted! Go get me a beer too please! ;)

One thing is for certain, none of the above would find it easy taking charge of a club with limited finances, such as a newly promoted or championship team. Having the luxury to buy big players is a huge bonus, but not taking away they are great at their jobs, none the less.

I would say Moyes was bad at UTD, but not a terrible manager overall, but the Man U job damaged his rep, much like Steve Mclaren and England.

Aww the Wally with the Brolly, lol was he better or worse than Kevin Keegan in your view. I love how we did so terrible in the World Cup but unlike most England managers who get sacked Hodgson just stays, I guess he's slightly better at England than he was at Liverpool

So I wasn't going to post here again but seen that my name is being treaded like mud , I want to put the record straight ,
@Flash this debate was the fact that I disagreed with most of ur opinions on Man Utd , u say u are not a Utd hater but it really does come across like that , de gea is one top goalkeepers in world at the moment , where it went wrong is when @bigwednesday0 said about the bench mark and u came out with records from 2 seasons , that's not the benchmark , all ur comments on this presides u as a Utd hater .
And male or female , you where always going to get a reaction just like your where wanting a reaction when u called me to uneducated few months ago when it got heated then , that what makes us individuals , but I found it very disappointing to read by female members that I jumped on u because of ur gender , I didn't even know u where a woman few months back when the same arguments where happening , it's just a shame u had to use this card , as for ur opinions of cause u can vent them here , it's a forum , but I'd love to know if I had quoted ur post on a movie thread would I have been called a sexist on that?

I agree @whysoserious. You have @Flash saying they are not a United hater but all your vitriol has been against United!
To say De Gea is a rubbish goalie is such a ridiculous statement. Such statements lead anyone to think of nothing but anti United hatred.
It's fine. United are always gonna have their haters. Success breeds contempt. Of all the teams in the premier league, only Liverpool has a history to rival United.
It's ok to disagree, but to continually go on about the failings on United recently, says more about YOU, than it does about United.
Roll on the season!

Why did you both have to bring it back up??? Surely there are no toys left in the pram but you have found some and your buddy has to jump and repeat your nonsense. @whysoserious?
@bigwednesday0

It's so funny how it's a good debate and funny banter when you agree and personal attacks almost when you don't, its so tedious.

Making your name mud??? :wtf:!
I have never heard so much nonsense, talk about playing the victim in a non existent situation. I disagree with you both SO WHAT!!! Talk about drama queens!! I don't think Degea is a good goalie, I think UTD have made some very bad choices, you disagree that's fine, this constant pantomime is ridiculous.

I really don't think all this was needed yet you always seen to do it. My opinion won't change. How I react to this nonsense won't change so please in future if you don't like what I have to say don't read it, block me for all I care.

I really don't see why you couldn't just laugh and actually continue to talk about football bit like @PKAVFC did.

I am going to carry on posting in here so you can either speak like a civilised person with me and discuss football which is what the thread is about and if you don't agree that's fine or ignore me, I really don't care either way.

Will Benteke help Liverpool? I wonder

Well in this case don't tag my name and talk about me all night how I've attacked u for being a woman , that's got nothing to do with it , woman in sports and women following sports as amazing in my opinion, simple as that
If u tag someone's name they are going to respond

So back to the football ,
@PunkNinja and @bigwednesday0 my inside info tells me Utd to table a £25 million bid for stones next week .

I know I wasn't tagged in so don't know if I am allowed to speak but thats very interesting just after Chelsea got a bid rejected? So is the Ramos deal off?

Honest football question, do you think losing so many of the players that had been there a long time helped or hindered UTD's progress?

Of cause ur aloud to speak , and please accept my appologies if I jumped on ur opinion but it was never meant to come across as sexist , I didn't know your was a woman when I 1st started debating . so we will leave it there

As for stones I think Chelsea bid has triggered interest , so maybe pushing to swap plus cash Evans , I wouldn't be happy with Evans tbh , not too sure if Ramos deal was ever on tbh

I think a lot of these Utd players needed to go , think they only just won the league with fergie , just a long process rebuilding Utd now , they still in a heathy possession though I think
