I read about that, it's going to really sting Carra to wear it. It's already hard enough as him and Neville aren't the biggest fans of each other. Is it the whole programme he's got to wear it?? It's for charity also so that's good but mightly funny.

i didnt catch the one against stoke on weds or the one against arsenal today due to work , did sky+ it but after seen the result , deleted it
im not really one for pre season friendlys tbh . most of the time it doesnt reflect what will happen in the real season , dont agree with putting them on tv , although i may go duncan fergusions very much delayed testimonial

We've got Chelsea tv and they show all the preseason games. I quite like watching them. We are playing NY red bulls on Wed night and then PSG, then Barca, then the cup and then home game against Florentina. I think you are right they are simply friendlies and can't possibly tell you about the season ahead, you can lose the league on the last day of the season. But I find them fun to watch. I am pretty sad Cech has gone and to Arsenal

Hehe, it is. It's at Carras house back in 2007. Long story short: we met a guy named Alfie who was a friend of the Carragher family. He took us on a roadtrip and we ended up home at Jamie. We also met his mother, father, both brothers etc that day.

Yes Thibaut is amazing but it's sad 10+ years with Cech, I know it's disappointing but I wish he had just stayed at chelsea even as 2nd
I mean Arsenal already had a bunch of keepers. I guess it was a hard choice as wonderful as Cech there aren't special goalies around too often and Thibaut wasn't going to wait around so he had to become no1.
haha thats amazing @spass , thanks for sharing with us. i remember going to an everton game few years back , one of my uncles has a box and u get a meal , get to sit in a private box and meet players in the bar at ht , most of they players just show there face then go and the one player that stuck around and went around chatting was none other than one of your own landon donovan , what a great bloke he was bought me and my family a drink (i think he only bought me one because i told him id done arteta and 4-1 everton on a bet , and it was 4-1 with arteta scoring 1st and landon came on and scored the to make it 5-1
. £600 i would have won), an short everton stay but a legend , i was reading only the other week how not coming back to everton for a longer stay left a hole in his heart and how he is a evertonian for life , im glad to call his a blue , great playerWe use to stay at a pub(Vera the owner has 10 rooms upstairs) right down the road from Sandhills station. The locals are mostly evertonians and really cool/friendly people.

I used to come over 2-3 times a year before I got the twins. I think I've been over 12-15 times in total. Sometimes we stayed a whole week during easter and catched a couple of games( when we still was regulary in the CL quarterfinals).
It's been over 2 years since the last time now though. But I'm planning a trip over now against Palace november 7th.
Fancy a pint or 2 maybe?

I've mentioned it to @ricster on FB already.. That was before we(me and my brother) had deceided which game though.
The way it looks now it's 99% certain it will be that date/game.
