I haven't seen the movie but I am interested. Can anyone explain or rather tell me in a non spoiler way if the full slip art pertains to the movie in some way? (good way)? Like her full slip controversy :p

Loving that lenticular! It might be too early to tell, well until we have the moving gif at least, but it looks like Clementine may fade out of the image as you move it? She looks nowhere near as clear as Jim Carrey on the cover anyway, kinda like she is fading out/disappearing, which would be a really nice touch. Anyone else getting that vibe?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Definitely would be a perfect touch. :thumbs:

That's a good catch now I look again. That would make it the surefire winner.

Ya, I prefer the lenticular. I've always wondered though, why does kimchi always give a smaller booklet to those that pick the lenticular over the full slip?

Joel does a lot of drawings and sketches in a book throughout the film and that is one of them (although horizontal). The art cards show some of the others.

I am loving both versions (especially if the lenticular turns out as Repoman90 has suggested that Clementine fades in and out of that image)! I really have to get my hands on both of these.

I'm new to non-North American steelbook collecting, but do KimchiDVD exclusives sell out pretty quick? (A bit of a long time lurker to the forums, and a lot of my exposure to Korean steel exclusives was the Drive Nova SB that seems to have gone to all heck when it went live.) Will my best bet (if I want both) be if I joined a group buy (I live in Canada)? And is there (or will there be) a GB going on for this?

Thanks in advance!

Wasn't a fan of the film and ended up turning it off about 45 minutes in but that's a really cool collection. The lenticular looks awesome. Might be willing to give it another try.

edit - Anyone know when the preorders go live? Top says it released in September, but that's obviously wrong, lol. Unless they mean 2015. =/

Been waiting for ages to hear updates on the pre order date to go live. Great film and hopefully once available Lenticular edition would be the one to purchase for this title... [emoji41]

@kings5504 kimchi exclusives usually sell out fast. It seems they've been cutting the print run for overseas customers these past two releases (memento, her). No one thought memento would sell out so fast. Some of their past exclusives like perfume and pianist took awhile to sell out (perfume might still be in stock?) Best advice I can give you is to be on when preorder goes live.

@hayemaker Thanks!

Wasn't sure about the rainbow colours at first, but it actually looks really nice with the slip. Very happy they got rid of the credits in the back!

jim careys character is an artist... or at least somebody who carries a sketchpad and doodles. those are some of the doodles you see in his sketchpad. in the film they are not the focus of any great attention, its just something he happens to be doing in some scenes, so it is quite an obscure reference to use the sketches for the cover art. nice if you are a hardcore fan i guess lol

i prefer the lenticular
