Are you f*cking kidding me? It used to be that Kimchi had awesome lenticular slips. Then those got less good, but the full slips really improved (a little credit to Plain Archive there). Now the past several releases it keeps flip flopping. Good lenti. Good full. Good lenti. Good full.
Just pick one already Kimchi! It looks weird having half a collection with full slips and half with slipcovers. Plus, I really liked the look of the booklet that was originally posted, but that only comes with the full slip--while I much prefer the lenticulars for this release. Come on!

The full slip looks really poor so it is a good job the lenticular looks great. It is just a shame that they have taken the hair colour thing to the extreme. I know they want to tie the Steelbook in with the movie but using it on the Steelbook, both slips, both booklets and the disc is overkill. It would have been so much better if they had kept it simple and gone for white spines and orange titles all around.

I totally agree...they went a little overboard with the colors of the rainbow theme.

Will this be a big first day seller or gradually sell copies throughout the week(s)?
Honestly, who knows with indie movies?

I think this would have a very similar fanbase/audience as Her, and didn't that sell out pretty quickly? This has a much bigger fanbase than that movie too in my opinion. Dallas Buyers Club is still up, but that was delayed and I guess has much less rewatch value.

Wasn't a fan of the film and ended up turning it off about 45 minutes in but that's a really cool collection. The lenticular looks awesome. Might be willing to give it another try.

edit - Anyone know when the preorders go live? Top says it released in September, but that's obviously wrong, lol. Unless they mean 2015. =/
Yes, try again. I am not a fan of Carrey. But I love Charlie Kaufman's writing and Michel Gondry's surehanded but crazily awesome Direction of the film. At the very least- it is a technical marvel of oblique story structure, and direction.

This is the most disappointing Kimchi release yet IMO... I'm not a huge fan of the steel itself or the full slip. I love the film and am dying to have a steelbook for it, but I think I may have to pass on this one. (n)

I don't know which one to get. I love this film (it's my second favourite film of all time), so I need to own at least one copy, but both versions have problems.

The lenticular is nice-looking, but it uses the same image as the SteelBook cover. The full slip is unique, but the Clementine bottle should be horizontal on the cover, not vertical. By it being vertical, the water is dripping to the side instead of downward. It would've worked if the titles went the same direction as the bottle, but they don't. Ugh... disappointing, in all honesty. Why did The Blu Collection have to get involved? :(

To each his own, but damn! How could you not love the guy?! I grew up on this mans quirky gestures and phrases.
The very definition of 'Trying Too Hard'. Bill Murray is just a funny guy- it's in his DNA. Carrey is the 'Hey, Watch me! Watch me! Watch me! Watch me!' Painful kind of performer. Of course some 'funny' sticks-only because he throws so much crap at the wall.
Of course, humor is subjective.
Some people thought Gallagher was a laugh riot.;)

I can just imagine the only person sitting at your table this xmas will be a lifesize cardboard Bill Murray, I'd put money on it.

Painful kind of performer? yes-but not in this film-the whole premise was the fact that Carrey & Winslet switched acting styles-JC more reserved-Kate Winslet more impulsive-it's a film I love because the bit near the end by the beach house makes me cry....
