I'm thinking of opening mine as on the bottom i noticed a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry small paint chip.

Guess I shoulda kept mine sealed.... :p just noticed a bunch of small imperfections of missing paint when i pulled off the backing .... the steel does look much better tho with wrapping off that gold shines nice on front.

I got #447 with booklet.

Got an interesting question:

Check out this auction.

In the picture of the certificate, it looks like the number is "505". So, I emailed the seller and asked him and he confirmed that it is, in fact, 505. Just wondering what that means in regards to only the first 500 having the booklet.

P.S.- That's one nasty dent on that Steelbook.

All the 1000 copies will have them numbered individually.
Only the first 500 will get the booklet.

Oh, I checked out the pictures from previous posts. I guess that's not the booklet. I know bluraysteel also said that Scanovo hadn't released the second batch of 500, so that had me confused, too.

Yes, RJ, the picture you saw it is not a booklet. Blufans only received 500 steelbooks early, they sent them out not according the numeral order.
Some people might want to wait for bundle shipping with Rio and not in rush getting the steelbook now. That is why you saw No.505 is there, but without the booklet.
also some members asked how should they identify the difference between first 500 and later 500 without opening. I think knowing the weight of the steelbook is the best way to distinguish them.
Can someone measure the weight the steelbook if you have a scale.

Just found out there are two steelbooks in the parcel heavily dented. :(

What a pity!

This is exactly the reason why I think I will be opening my only copy at the weekend too! I can see quite a few imperfections of missing paint with the wrapping on anyway, so what the heck ! I might as well see it in it's full glory! Plus I wanna know what number I got :naughty:
