I couldn't do it. I Almost did...
I love SteelBooks. I love this movie. But once i picked it up and saw the G1 size in real. It just felt wrong, so i put it back. I think I'm going to go with the target exclusive instead.
isn't life awesome? you get choices...do what makes you happy.
afterall, this is a steelbook section for people who collect steelbook![]()
. while I was waiting in line at the customer support area, I saw like 2 people asking about the steelbook since they ran out by lunch time. Why not right? It's the same price as the regular amaray case anyway.Just got back from BB - there were only about 6 or so on the shelves - split between all the displays. I picked up 3 - got 2 extras in case anyone needs one or wants to trade.
I'll check my other BB tomorrow at lunch, but my guess is these are going fast (no pun intended).
I really like this one too....now I'm second guessing getting the 5 movie combo from France.
If this was G2 It would totally be a welcome addition to my collection.

Any pics of the inside of the guide for our thread?

I really hate G1 steelbooks, but its either the amaray for $19.99 or the G1 steelbook for $19.99? In this case steel is better than plastic, even if it is G1.
In my opinion this is the best G1 steelbook that Best Buy has put out (wasn't crazy about Hurt Locker). I'm going to pick one up after work along with Lion King.
Btw the extended cut is only 1 Min longer. Kind of a joke imo. 1 Min really???

Here is Justin Lin question about the difference...
GB: What can you tell us about the extended edition of “Fast Five” that hits home video this week? What makes it different than the theatrical version?
JL: It’s extended and I don’t know if people will notice. What I mean is when you make films — and with the tone of “Fast Five” – there’s a lot of back and forth with the MPAA and the rating. It’s just part of the process. I thought the process was very fair and the back and forth was great but if there had been no restrictions, this is the version that would have been the movie. And if you watch [the extended edition] a lot of the hits and the action sequences, it’s very subtle but this is the version that I prefer. The version that was in theaters is the essence of everything I wanted but the extended version is [a fuller realization]. There is one extra scene in the extended version … but most people that have seen it really could barely tell the difference. But tonally, it has everything. If you want to look at the definitive cut, that’s the cut you want. And when Hobbs breaks the guy’s neck you really do hear it on this cut [laughs].
:movie:I bought this but I'm not feeling the size... Doesn't go well with the rest of my steel book.. I have a feeling ill be returning this...
I went to 4 different Best Buys and saw only ONE copy of this... crazy.
Until now, I don't understand why some Blu-ray movies will be released in DVD sized steelbooks..., just wierd and makes no sense.I like the artwork on the steelbook, one of the best from all the Fast & Furious releases all over the world in my opinion.
