I just want my refund not credit points
good-fricken-luck-yeah-right.gif

I emailed them a few weeks ago regarding this issue and they told me they were refunding customers. As it became clear this wasn't the case I emailed them again on numerous occasions. Not one of those subsequent emails has been replied to, which speaks volumes.
It's clear they're just fobbing off customers, telling them what they want to hear regarding refunds then going silent. They then have the gall to announce new products, obscenely priced and expect customers to be sucked in Once more.
I don't understand how, legally, they can avoid issuing refunds, however, that's clearly what's happening so it'll be interesting to see how this pans out in the long run...

I was told to raise a case against them via paypal and paypal will suspend all transactions for the company (i.e. they won't be able to use paypal but more importantly, get any money coming in) if they suspect foul play and it's surprising how fast they issued by refund.
Sounds like a solution if you used PayPal and already gave them multiple chances to refund you guys @leelee17 @snow flake

As much as I love fac editions, I’m way too scared to order new editions going forward :banghead:
worst that can happen is you get refunded your money in store credit and are allowed to use it for new items that are ten times the price of your original item.. thats also the best that can happen probably

I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't have any outstanding orders with them but I felt compelled to contact them as an attempt to address the issue on behalf of other members here. Just a bit of moral support I wanted to give.

To be honest if you want to raise criminal charges on a company in another country (e.g., Italy), you have to go through their Embassy. I need to check if FilmArena is the same process, so I recommend you do your research. For me that's a trip to London to get such satisfaction.

If you're in the EU then you don't need to go that far, the European small claims court will deal with it (unless they owe you a ridiculous sum of money). I'd imagine threatening to bring them there in an official manner alone will provoke the right reaction, or at least that has been my experience over the years with companies trying to weasel their way out of their obligations.
