also I have been told this is 100% zavvi exclusive ... so listings you see elsewhere ... ie. amazon are just people reading off the Disney schedule and thinking they are getting it... which they arent. (ie. amazon) Tho the listing could be later used for 3rd party sellers.

However this is zavvi exclusive so keep your orders with zavvi or you'll be moaning in this thread in about a month.

That's nice, for people who pre-ordered from zavvi.
For me, I can just hope that the ebay resellers get their promised copies...

thanks for the info, will keep checking back on zavvi

Guys ... hold tight. (as opposed to ebay)

We most often ALWAYS get cancellations before release. I will exclusively reveal resale time and date for these to HDN.

To better have an idea so you dont miss out folks. 10 days before release "Subscribe to this Thread" (or you can now) this way you will get an email of when this reveal date goes live. This will keep you in the know and help you not miss out.

Should I triple dip and pay $$$ on eBay to get embossed teeth??? Sure why not, seems rational.

First time collecting something?

Let me explain the whole principle to you: you don't pay for embossed teeth, but for exclusiveness. Do you know how valuable rarities can become? You can find enough examples (Iron Man exclusive Futureshop Canada Steelbook) on Ebay.

Now, the Finding Nemo steelbook has some of the best embosses/debosses I've ever seen. So, for one of my favourite movies, double the price (not yet tripple) seems reasonable for me, before it costs $100 on Ebay.

If you still don't understand, u can PM me.

So the chances are the listing on amazon is more likely to be the amaray and amazon have just made the mistake of incorrectly labelling it as a steelbook? The listing says it's sold by Amazon EU - it's not been a week yet so presumably they'll contact their suppliers to get confirmation of the mistake and then quietly cancel the orders?

I hope that it will include 3d as wel. As the Finding Nemo 3D is also released on 27 May. Zavvi is selling the 3D version for £16.45. Let's see what will happen.

No im sure they are correct in labeling it steelbook (cuz they are probably going off disney release schedule which doesnt show who its exclusive too; meaning they wont be able to get stock)... but what im saying is that it should be some type of mistake no different then how Roger Rabbit went up on their site in the same fashion last time. Its no harm in them leaving that link valid tho so later on 3rd party sellers can list against it.

I'm just making it known that its a 100% zavvi exclusive and its been confirmed. So for those who got orders in they may get canceled or who knows what when release comes.

Just doing my part in forewarning the community.

The amaray is on another listing..so steelbook was correct.

If all else fails kick up a stink may get a voucher or something :D

Or could it be the German release they could send there own amazon exclusive

Mmm. I guess you didn't read into my sarcasm. I think collecting steelbooks is an awesome (albeit sometimes expensive) pass time. Having both the German and Canadian version, I wasn't sure if I wanted to purchase a third version with the same art etc. I don't plan on selling them as I purchase them for myself and not to make a profit. If I had unlimited $$$ then it wouldn't be an issue. I have to save my crazy eBay purchase for Aladdin, which I stupidly missed out on. Thanks for your input though

Well, my answer was also sarcasm ;)
But after reading your background, now I understand that your statement "paying triple for embossed teeth" wasn't related to me.
Me, too, will have to sell my second german copy to fund that Zavvi one on Ebay. Awful...

Amazon just emailed to confirm they made a mistake in listing this and have cancelled my order.

Only ordered on the off-chance myself, still have my order from Zavvi. :)
