I cancelled mine around a week or two ago because i had spent too much to justify on steels on ebay during the last month, now the date has delayed by a week i feel like :sniper:

I think digibooks should be packaged in a box myself, it's a collectible and can cost as much as a steelbook so why not give it good protection!;)

I suppose I don't think of them as being as brittle as steelbooks. It's the first time I've ever had a digibook arrive in a box to be honest. I can see how they can get damaged but in the past Jiffy bags have been fine.

Though I don't collect Digibooks (I think I am going to start grabbing one here and there), I would definitely appreciate them being sent in Zavvi's Steelbook packaging. I know I would be pretty annoyed if one of the corners was crushed or something like that.

Anyway, on topic, I don't mind waiting for this just as long as it arrives in mint condition. I hope all future Disney Steelbooks look this good and I hope more Pixar titles are on the way too.

Mine got delayed til the 30th too. Thankfully the new Zavvi packaging is great! The first few steels I bought from them came in envelopes but the most recent batch was in boxes with packing foam. Definite step up and worth waiting a few extra days for!

Found my email in my junk folder.

I'll happily wait, if it means it's sent in the new packaging.

Delayed payment, is also a welcome bonus:scat:

I was unaware that the date had been put back to the 3rd of June. I don't recall Zavvi sending me an eMail to inform me of the delay for this title (although I did receive one to inform me that Star Trek XI was delayed due to packaging shortages)

My guess is that they knew they couldn't deliver on time because of the bank holiday, so instead chose to delay it by a week so that they could guarantee a Monday delivery

or they could be telling the truth about there packaging situation

Zavvi don't guarantee it to be with us on release date, but even if they were lying to cover something up it wouldn't be over something as insignificant as a bank holiday delaying a package a couple of days.

My buddies and I have returned 5 copies of Nemo all together. So those who missed out should have another little opportunity at some point :)
