Got mine just now, finally. Thankfully mint condition. Anyone else notice how chunky this thing feels? Could swear it's a thicker material but surely it must be the thick paint? The front of this thing feels SOLID to me, especially considering how much embossing is going on.

Big thumbs up on this one, all steels should be as special as this.

It really does feel risky, especially ones that sell out like this. I thought buying two copies would cover me in terms of risk of damaged copies but oh no.

Yes buying 2 you hope at least one will be perfect I've only double dipped on one movie lawless both were fine so I was lucky.

Out of all my steels I bought around 60 only about 8 had damage 4 from eBay members 4 from amazon.fr.

I've given up buying now spent to much

I'm surprised some UK members still haven't received their copies or just got them today because I received mine today, but I live all the way in California.

Anyways back to the steelbook. It's absolutely gorgeous, the pictures really don't do it justice. I compared it with my viva, and this one easily blows it out of the water.

My goodness Absolutely stunning video to show off this amazing steelbook. If any still thinks the Viva is better after that vid, they are in denial lol. Mine better show up soon. Gonna try to convert it to a 3 disk.

arrived yesterday,a little confused as what is considered "mint" (need to educate myself of spine slash thingies and the like) , but to my eye looks perfect ...

Long term kinda worry there will be some damage the box was crushed and torn and I kinda think its not perfect considering how collectable they are and people want them damage free .. but we will see

I just got both mine today (late I know, but that's Royal Mails fault) and one was in mint condition and one had a very slight spine slash. Overall I am glad I got my pre order on day one because it is a beaut. It is really shiny! And loving the embodiment & debossment as well.
