I'm starting to think this is the universal artwork worldwide (just like Thor). I'm pretty sure it's an economical way for the company to produce and ship out the exact same steelbook everywhere in the world and just attach a cheap J-card with each country's Title of the film along with information and ratings in that country's language. It's really a smart strategy as long as the quality of the steelbook is good. People don't have to scour the world for the steelbook version of their preference. Except for instances of unique sets from KimchiDVD and Blufans, collectors will get one steelbook design.

One thing I like about this artwork is that I doubt they can find anything stupid to emboss on it.

Now watch it just have an embossed border...just cuz' embossed.

I love that Zavvi is giving us great Disney titles, new and classic ones, but I think there is a "time and a place" when embossing a steel is okay and when it's excessive. The way they have been embossing parts of the art and adding the frame around their exclusives is becoming too much. Hopefully they at least slow down a little bit. The Frozen artwork shouldn't really need embossing. That's just my opinion though.

With that said, is there a chance this will be released in North America then?

Do you guys think that this actually will be sold out, i kind of need to trim down my per orders (all the Hunger Games and Disney releases is killing my wallet)...

Bear in mind that the 3D release of this movie has been cancelled indefinitely in the U.S.

So, with Zavvis international shipping catering for the U.S. market and the 3D version being sought after over there, I think there is a strong chance this will prove popular with collectors and sell out sooner rather than later.

It was down to the last 500 copies at the start of the week.

It's the only retailer in the uk which has this, exclusive doesnt mean its the only place with this steelbook it just means there the only place in the certain country which has it. Like best buy futureshop media market etc etc. Or look at jack reacher from ES. The retailer makes it exclusive to them not the steelbook.

The last 2 world wide releases from Disney, Monsters University and The Lone Ranger were flat no embossing so most likely this will be flat. The Lone Ranger was a real nice steelbook with the MU being quite the opposite, in fact I have mine on display with the rear art work as I prefer it.
