Question for you my Friend, I will probably open an UE but I noticed when I feel data sheet over Anna Lenti for the UE that they used those drops of glue like they do sometimes in back of steelbooks to hold the j-card(like FS does), but since it is stuck to the Lenti of Anna, does any of you who opened a copy know if it leaves a residue on the lenti as there's some grooves in it, it's not flat like the back of a steel ?

Also, since I am OCD one of my copy has a tear in the shrink wrap, for those OCD collectors, should I stress over this ? I am not a collector who resells it is for me only but used to having perfect sealed items and don't want to bring it up to who helped me get those(they may not have notice as OCD we do)...I will probably end up having to chose to open this one since it has the tear but I don't know when I will get Anna and Elsa if they will be tears in the shrink wrap also...any suggestions so I don't stress over this ?

I wouldn't bother about a tear in the shrink wrap as long as the steelbook itself is mint. Maybe you should try to be a bit less OCD regarding the shrink wrap. Helps to enjoy these treasures...

Unfortunately I did not receive mine thus far. They are not even shipped yet.

Oh I am sorry to hear, I feel bad even saying I had received it as I know so many others I still waiting for their copies, I didn't mean to be insensitive but after so many and many months of waiting I couldn't keep it in when I received them it was so surreal I had to share as it's a joyful moment !

I hope your copies will be shipped soon !!!

You don't have to feel bad about it. You are always welcome to share your opinions and emotions with us.

They used glue to hold the cover onto the back of the Ultimate Edition? If so that sux.

I didn't open it but when you feel with your hand the data sheet that is covering Anna Lenti Side, you feel 2 round bumps at 2 different place top and bottom like you would feel when getting a FS copy, they often used this to hold the j-card in the back of the steel, that is what it feels like, usually you just roll it off and it doesn't leave residue on back of a steel but since it is on a lenti(that kinda feel like they have grooves I am worries that since it is not flat it would leave residue... but from the pics taken it doesn't seem so but I am wondering as I didn't open my copy yet

Yes, @Actarus there is some glue under the data sheet. It's pretty strong stuff so you will have to be gentle when peeling back the paper as to not rip it.
It's not as strong as the glue used on the Mexican Godzilla release, but it's not far off it.

When I took off the data sheet there was a small amount of glue residue left on the grooves of the lenti, so I used the ball of glue to pluck it off.

I hope this info is of some help!

Thank you so much and yes it helps, I really appreciate your response. I just opened a FS Divergent and there was that similar glue in the back to hold the J-card and it's so easy to damage the data sheet(j-card).

I will be extra careful and if residue will try your trick... usually I use a tiny amount of WD40 on back of j-card as they are glossy and rinse with a damp paper towel and dry right away and it removes all that was left behind, but don't know if I could use this trick on the lenti ''because of the grooves'' if ever the glue is not as easy to come off as yours did

@justboy I finally opened my UE and removed very slowly the Data sheet without making bents(folds) in the paper as when removing it when it is at the point where the glue is, it is challenging. If removed veeeerrrryyyyyyyy slowly, I was lucky enough everything came off the Lenti, no bents created in data sheet.

But WOW OH WOW Lenti is superb it has so much Depth I have never seen such a lenti that looks so 3D.
Found it strange though under the shrink wrap when removing it on Elsa Lenti it has plenty of small micro scratches like it rubbed several times against something before they shrink wrapped it, you have to look by playing with the Light but it's not as Flawless as the Kimchi one in terms of no micro scratched.
However on ANNA side which was under the Data sheet much better condition looks like a normal new Lenti.
I wonder why they weren't as careful with the Elsa Lenti side.
That being said it is such a beautiful package, Took a picture even though many were posted before.
Oh and Steelbook is Flawless(no micro scratches whatsoever and sooooo gorgeous it's surreal to finally be holding it).

@Actarus @blu-steel Congrats!
What's your opinion between Kimichi's Lenti vs BF's?

Thanks Charlie  I think that Kimchi Lenti is actually pretty nice, looks like the average Lenti but when I got my Blufans and opened it, the difference is there. Kimchi seems a bit more blurry and has less depth and contrast(Although I still love that release). The BF one is stunning, it really looks 3D you look straight at it and see all the effects. I find the Anna one more popping, although the Elsa is quite stunning as well. As much as I loved my kimchi, I would give it a regular average Lenti look, BF is by far the nicest Lenti that doesn't need moving it to see the effects. It has deepness, contrast, Sharpness it's basically a 3D WOW factor. I was impressed. I don't want to oversell it so when you get it you might get disappointed because of expectations created, but I don't see how someone cannot just look at it and be Impressed.

PS: The steel is Glossy, No Micro Scratches on it, Impressed by the quality.

Thanks @Actarus. That's a big dilemma for the ones (like me) who didn't ordered the Anna ver. but still want to keep it sealed. (options) Open it, enjoy it or watch the pics. :bag: I knew since BFs showed their dual lenti sided slip I've asked to myself about this a back art without the specs. data sheet? An easy option with the 3 others versions but not for this one.

@charlie1533pr Not sure I understood your message well... Did you order an Ultimate Edition ? Not sure if you are asking this question indirectly, but yes the data sheet was Glued to the Anna side of the UE, so to see Anna we have to remove the Data sheet which is glued but if you remove it carefully the little balls of glue stay stuck with the data sheet and don't leave residue to the Lenti, if it does I was told to use a ball of glue to use it to grab with it what is left on the Lenti, but mine came off clean and I was able to remove the data sheet very carefully without damaging it.

I am a Sealed OCD type of person, I occasionally open a steel but you ABSOLUTELY need to Open 1 Version of the Blufans. This is one you need to enjoy open. I Opened The UE because I wanted to Keep My Anna Sealed. It is My favorite Artwork. But I do find it weird that we have to remove the data sheet as I like them on the back of the slipcover, but with this one you have to kinda remove it if you want to see Anna, Steel is so beautiful and so many extras.

I usually am like you, I keep them sealed and watch the pics on here, but some that are too beautiful, that I like too much the movie, I open a copy and get one to keep sealed. But someone said something to me (@nicblue ) as i was saying I keep my copies sealed but when we were discussing All You Need Is Kill and made me think as I am an OCD collector who likes them sealed, but I don't plan on selling them, so I'm trying selectively now to open more than I used to so I can enjoy them. Hope you got yourself 2 copies of frozen BF as you need to open one(and you'll have one tighty sealed)

But I wouldn't be able to open a steel if I wouldn't have another sealed copy on hands lol I couldn't open my Maleficent so I got the Kimchi Amaray to watch the movie. I totally know how you feel.

Has been anyone in the United States had their package enter the US yet? My tracking number shows absolutely no update since 2am November 3rd. I said I wouldn't bring up anything until 10 days of inactivity. Today is the 13th so I'm just wondering if any US residents have seen any movement.
I received my on Wednesday.
The first week it was over seas. Then I checked on USPS.com and found where it was the past few days before it was delivered to my home.

Would the glue thing be an issue in the future? Lets say if i finally decided to open these beauts in 10yrs, the glue wont leave any permanent/dried-up-glue marks or whatnot?

prob not 10yrs but just future OCD scare
