My tracking has said the "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" thing since I received the number early last week. Now it says "USPS Tracking™ is unavailable for this product for CHINA." I've never seen this before and thought I would share to let others know it's not just them (if their tracking shows the same).
Mine is also showing the same, hope everything goes smoothly...and still no updates since the 13th on aftership for me.

Silly question time.. Received my ultimate edition today but I'm wondering if I've just been sent the Elsa version as was expecting to see the Anna cover on the back... How can I tell (without opening it) if I've got the right copy?!

Update- I can see it is now by looking along the edge, silly me! Is the sticker on the front an indication also (e.g. Elsa and Anna sticker is only on the UE??

Other than PLAIN Archive releases, I've had issues with the QC for Chinese and South Korean Steelbooks for a while now. It's been a long time since I've gotten a Kimchi exclusive with the Steelbook in mint condition - always one or two scratches or little paint nicks and chips. I've had some major issues with Blufans stuff as well but I've been lucky to get replacements. I've never had problems with the slipcovers and things like that though and it's always the Steelbook itself. I think it might be during the shrinkwrapping process that the damage is occurring. I will agree that Kimchi and Korean releases have generally better QC than Blufans though.

In other news, I got my UE today! Took a lot quicker than most Blufans to get to me and the tracking actually updated once it arrived in the country which has never happened to me. Thing weighs a tonne and I'm pretty sure it can stop bullets.

My Elsa side of my UE is misaligned and my Anna side has three long scuffs down the center like Wolverine got at it.

Funny though my Kimchis Frozen are All Flawless, shrink wrap and Lenti Elsa...even though better quality Lenti it seems that many people are having issue by receiving the UE or Elsa Version with Elsa Side having scratches on the shrink wrap and on the Lenti also but surprised to hear that there's scratches on the Anna side, that ain't good :ohno:

Look at the data sheet, for the UE you will see your copy number out of 2200 copies which is the Print Run of The Ultimate Edition
ex; 0001/2200 = UE since 2200 copies written there

Elsa Version Print Run is 500 copies only
ex; 001/500 = Elsa Version

The Ultimate edition should come with two booklets (the Elsa and the Anna one). Can you see 2 books beside the steelbook?

I would also imagine that both girls being on the sticker indicates it's the Ultimate Edition. I can't find just the Elsa one yet to see if only she is on the sticker or not.

Found one ;) Yes, the individuals are on their respective sticker, so having both on the sticker means it's the UE :D

yes never noticed Anna and Elsa for the UE on the sticker, another easy way you're right, but I would look at print run to make sure.

@blu78 @cjy152 @perchut @AlexG @Ask and anyone on the Westside of the US who have inactive tracking numbers. I'm not sure what's going on exactly with these shipments and the inactivity. I would've not worried at all but I recieve an "Orange Alert" saying that the tracking number is no longer available. Does that mean that it no longer is accountable to be updated and/or lost? Again, I will patiently wait but I just don't want to waste time waiting if the package is possibly misplaced. I'm waiting until 21 days of tracking inactivity before notifying Kevin.

Anyway, if any of you listed above receive theirs, please let us know so that could put our minds at ease knowing that they are in fact NOT LOST. Thanks.

I've noticed that some people from the Midwest have received their copy. I however am still looking at a Nov. 8th date on Aftership with zero updates. Just wondering if other people in the US are experiencing the same thing.

It is Normal that from China Post you only get Posting info and item sent, they don't go further in the following. If your item was sent EMS it is suspicious, but if it was sent regular Air Mail, it is very normal that no updates on USPS and that you didn't receive your package, EMS can take sometimes less than a week and sometimes a little more, Air Parcel can take 3 full weeks average, less if you are lucky (from experience)...
 
I think that the alert is showing up for multiple people. It's probably just a USPS thing and with these international shipments, tracking can be hit or miss. I know that with these Frozen shipments people have said their tracking didn't update until after they received their package. I wouldn't worry just yet.

@charlie1533pr need a favor from you, once you get your UE, can you inspect it and tell me if there is some scratches on the shrink wrap on Elsa Side and if you open your copy, if there is some scratches as well on the Lenti itself of Elsa (Micro scratches) ...by playing with the light different angle if not obvious ???

would be appreciated :)
 
I'm going to live with the couple of imperfections on mine. Overall it's a stunning set
Good for you! I've become okay with some minor stuff like that. If you obsess over little things that you have no control over, it takes away from the joy of collecting. And with how long everyone's waited with Frozen, the end result still looks awesome.
